Santi, Faradila and Prof. Dr. Ir. Soemarno (2023) Pengaruh Bahan Organik dalam Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB) Terhadap Kalium Tersedia di Lahan Tanaman Kopi di Desa Bambang, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Coffee plants are plantation commodities with high economic value. This is because from the habits of the Indonesian people who like to drink coffee. One of the obstacles encountered in coffee plantations is the lack of availability of organic matter due to run off. Low organic matter content can result in low macronutrients contained in the soil. One solution that can be done to overcome these problems is by making biopore infiltration holes with the addition of organic matter. By making of the Biopore Infiltration Hole is expected to increase the availability of nutrients in the soil. This research activity was carried out from April to October 2022, which is located in Bambang Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) which consisted of seven treatments and four replications. The organic materials used in this study were goat manure, compost, and pine litter. Soil samples were taken once a month for five months. Soil samples was analyzed at the Soil Chemistry Laboratory, Department of Soil Science and Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University to determine the content of available potassium levels, KTK, C-organic, and pH. Based on the results and discussion that have been obtained in this study, it can be concluded that the treatment of goat manure 20 tons/ha on soil samples 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm was significantly different from the chemical characteristics of the soil and coffee plant growth. Goat manure treatment of 20 tons/ha on average gave the highest results for almost every parameter. Increasing soil organic matter content also affects the increase in Kdd and CEC and has a positive correlation to Kdd values and Soil CEC in soil at depths of 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm.
