Abstract
Sektor pertanian memegang peranan penting dalam penyediaan pangan sehingga produktivitasnya perlu dijaga. Dalam penerapan budidaya pertanian, masyarakat cenderung menggunakan sistem pertanian konvensional yaitu meningkatkan hasil produksi dengan menggantungkan input bahan kimia. Pertanian konvensional dicirikan dengan penggunaan pestisida dalam jumlah besar sebagai bentuk pengendalian OPT. Hal itu karena pestisida dianggap paling efektif, cepat dan praktis memberantas OPT. Penggunaan insektisida secara intensif bisa jadi berpengaruh terhadap keberlangsungan hidup organisme lain karena tidak hanya mengenai OPT sasaran saja, tetapi juga dapat mengenai organisme lain seperti musuh alami. Keberadaan musuh alami dapat membantu mengendalikan serangan OPT seperti Coccinella sp. yang berperan sebagai predator. Bahan aktif yang terkandung didalam insektisida dapat mempengaruhi musuh alami. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai bahan aktif insektisida secara direct maupun indirect terhadap musuh alami Coccinella sp. pada stadia larva instar IV dan imago. Kegiatan penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai bulan Desember 2022. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Hama Tumbuhan 2, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijay, Malang dan Laboratorium Rearing PT Petrokimia Kayaku, Gresik. Penelitian dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF) terdiri atas 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor perlakuan yaitu bahan aktif buprofezin, MIPC, sipermetrin, dinotefuran dan pimetrozin dan faktor selanjutnya metode aplikasi insektisida yaitu secara direct dan indirect. Adapun metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pembuatan sungkup, perbanyakan Coccinella sp., infestasi musuh alami dan aplikasi insektisida perlakuan. Variabel pengamatan pada penelitian ini adalah mortalitas, kecepatan kematian dan kemampuan makan musuh alami Coccinella sp. baik larva instar IV maupun imago. Berdasarkan penelitian, didapatkan bahwa mortalitas dan kecepatan kematian larva instar IV lebih tinggi dibandingkan imago Coccinella sp. Sedangkan pada uji kemampuan makan nilai imago lebih tinggi dibandingkan larva instar IV. Metode aplikasi insektisida secara direct menghasilkan mortalitas lebih tinggi dibandingkan indirect. Aplikasi insektisida dengan menggunakan bahan aktif buprofezin mematikan musuh alami paling sedikit karena memiliki persentase mortalitas dan nilai kecepatan kematian terendah serta menghasilkan kemampuan makan yang tinggi yaitu 3,33% dan 1,33 individu/jam. Selain itu, menghasilkan kemampuan makan paling tinggi yaitu 138,33 individu Aphis sp. Sebaliknya, mortalitas dan lama kematian tertinggi serta menghasilkan kemampuan makan terendah yaitu pada aplikasi insektisida dengan bahan aktif MIPC berturut-turut sebesar 76,67%, 10 kematian individu/jam, 5,33 individu Aphis sp.
English Abstract
The agricultural sector plays an important role in the supply of food so that productivity needs to be maintained. In the application of cultivation agriculture, people tend to use the agricultural convention system, namely to increase production by relying on chemical inputs. Agricultural conventions are characterized by the use of large amounts of pesticides as a form of pest control. This is because pesticides are considered the most effective, fast and practical in eradicating pests. The intensive use of insecticides can affect the survival of other organisms because they do not only affect OPT targets, but can also affect other organisms such as natural enemies. The presence of natural enemies can help control OPT attacks such as Coccinella sp. acting as a predator. The active ingredients contained in insecticides can affect natural enemies. So it is necessary to conduct research to determine the effect of various insecticide active ingredients directly or indirectly on the natural enemies of Coccinella sp. in the instar IV larvae and imago stages. Research activities were carried out from September 2022 to December 2022. The research was conducted at the Plant Pest Laboratory 2, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, Malang, and also at the Rearing Laboratory of PT Petrokimia Kayaku, Gresik. The study was designed using a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF) consisting of 12 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment factors are the active ingredients buprofezin, MIPC, cypermethrin, dinotefuran and pimetrozin and the next factor is the insecticide application method, namely direct and indirect. The research methods carried out were making hoods, propagation of Coccinella sp., infestation of natural enemies and application of insecticide treatments. The observed variables in this study were mortality, speed of death and ability to eat natural enemies of Coccinella sp. both instar IV larvae and imago. Based on the research, it was found that the mortality and death rate of instar IV larvae were higher than that of imago Coccinella sp. Meanwhile, in the eating ability test, the value of imago was higher than that of fourth instar larvae. The direct method of insecticide application results in higher mortality than indirect. Application of insecticides using the active ingredient buprofezin kills natural enemies the least because it has the lowest percentage of mortality and mortality rates and produces high feeding ability, namely 3.33% and 1.33 individuals/hour. In addition, it produced the highest eating ability, namely 138.33 individuals of Aphis sp. On the other hand, the highest mortality and duration of death and the lowest eating ability were the application of insecticides with the active ingredient MIPC, which were 76.67%, 10 individual deaths/hour, 5.33 individual Aphis sp.
