Abstract
Anion exchange membrane adalah membran polimer yang sering digunakan dalam sistem pemanenan energi dan penyimpanan energi elektrokimia. Anion exchange membrane pada reverse electrodialysis memiliki peranan untuk menseleksi dan mendorong pergerakan anion Cl- sehingga dapat menghasilkan energi listrik. Anion exchange membrane dibuat dengan mengikat secara kovalen gugus quaternary ammonium dari polimer active dengan gugus rantai samping atau gugus tulang punggung (backbone) dari polimer inert penyusun membran.
English Abstract
Anion exchange membrane is a polymer membrane frequently used in electrochemical energy harvesting and energy storage systems. Anion exchange membrane in reverse electrodialysis has the role of a selector and encourager of Cl- anions so that they can produce electrical energy. Anion exchange membranes are made by covalently binding the quaternary ammonium group of the active polymer with the side chain group or backbone group of the inert polymer.
