Abstract

Pada penerjemahan, teori penerjemahan sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung menghasilkan produk terjemahan. Penelitihan ini hanya menggunakan bagian kecil dari teori menerjemahkan yang bernama teori kesetaraan level tata bahasa. Ada 5 kategori kesetaraan tata Bahasa, mereeka adalah, category of gender, category of voice, category of number, category of person, dan category of tense, Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Penulis menggunakan kuesioner yang diadopsi dari Aguado- Gimenez P.& Perez- Paredes, P.F (2005) didalam jurnal yang berjudul Translation- strategies; A Classroom Based Examination of Bakers’ Taxonomy. Penulis mengadopsi 9 pertanyaan test yang berhubungan dengan kesetaraan tingkat tata bahasa. Participan di penelitihan ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa inggris, Universitas Brawijaya yang telah mengambil kelas penerjemah di semester 6 dan semester 8. Dari penelitihan ini, terdapat mean score sebesar 36.22%. Sementara ada sekitar skor tertinggi 50% mahasiswa yang menjawab dengan benar di nomor 34. Lalu ada skor terkecil 12% mahasiswa yang menjawab deng benar di nomor 29

English Abstract

In translation, translation theory is needed to support practicing translation product. This research only use small part of translation theory namely grammatical equivalence level theory. There are 5 grammatical categories namely; category of gender, category of voice, category of number, category of person, and category of tense. This research used quantitative design with survey method. The writer used questionnaire that was adopted from Aguado P.& Perez- Paredes, P.F (2005) in the journal entitled Translation- strategies; A Classroom Based Examination of Bakers’ Taxonomy. The writer adopted 9 questions that related with grammatical equivalence level. The participants in this research are English Education Program students who took translation course in 6th semester and 8th semester, Brawijaya University. From this research, there is mean score around 36.22%. While, there are highest score 50% students who answer the question correctly in number 34. Then, there are smallest 12% students who answer correctly in number 29.
