Abstract

Jahe (Zingiber officinale) banyak diminati ketika Pandemik Covid 19 karena bermanfaat menurunkan panas, meredakan sakit dan meningkatkan sistem imun. Tanaman jahe untuk tumbuh dan berkembang sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungannya. Unsur iklim curah hujan, suhu udara, dan kelembaban udara mempunyai pengaruh penting dalam proses fisiologis tanaman. Mengingat seiring waktu kondisi iklim telah berubah, maka perlu dicari informasi untuk mempelajari dampak perubahan iklim terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan mendapatkan informasi terbaru tentang faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi produktivitas tanaman tersebut, sehingga akan mempermudah dalam pengembangannya. Penelitian telah dilakukan pada bulan Agustus - Oktober 2021 dengan metode survei dilaksanakan di tiga lokasi sentra Jahe di Kabupaten Malang yaitu Kecamatan Ngantang, Singosari, dan Tajinan. Penentuan lokasi sampel berdasarkan salah satu sentra tanaman jahe yaitu Kabupaten Malang dengan metode purposive sampling. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling sehingga total orang yang diwawancarai adalah 45 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu pengumpulan data primer dan pengumpulan data sekunder. Data sekunder dianalisis dengan uji korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel apabila ditemukan hubungan dilanjutkan dengan uji regresi berganda. Data primer berupa data wawancara dianalisis dengan skala likert. Hasil penelitian pada 3 kecamatan memiliki hubungan dan pengaruh terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe yang berbeda. Unsur iklim curah hujan, hari hujan, dan suhu udara rata-rata terdapat hubungan terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe dan suhu udara rata-rata merupakan unsur iklim dominan dengan pengaruh sebesar 61,1% terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe di Kecamatan Ngantang. Selanjutnya unsur iklim suhu udara rata-rata dan suhu udara maksimum terdapat hubungan terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe dan suhu udara rata-rata merupakan unsur iklim dominan dengan pengaruh sebesar 50% terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe di Kecamatan Singosari. Terakhir unsur iklim suhu udara rata-rata, suhu udara maksimum, dan kelembaban udara rata-rata terdapat hubungan terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe dan suhu udara rata-rata merupakan unsur iklim yang dominan dengan pengaruh sebesar 57,8% terhadap produktivitas tanaman jahe di Kecamatan Tajinan.

English Abstract

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is in great demand during the Covid 19 pandemic because it is useful for reducing heat, relieving pain and boosting the immune system. Ginger plants to grow and develop is strongly influenced by environmental conditions. The factors of climate, rainfall, air temperature, and air humidity have an important influence on plant physiological processes. Given that over time climatic conditions have changed, it is necessary to find information to study the impact of climate change on ginger plants productivity. Through this research, it is expected to get the latest information about the dominant factors that affect the productivity of these plants, so that it will facilitate their development. The research have been completed in August - October 2021 with a survey method carried out in three locations of ginger centers in Malang Regency, namely Ngantang, Singosari, and Tajinan Districts. Determination of the location of the sample based on one of the centers of ginger plants, namely Malang Regency with purposive sampling method. Determination of the sample was done by purposive sampling method so that the total interviewees were 45 people. Research data collection techniques are divided into 2, namely primary data collection and secondary data collection. Secondary data was analyzed by correlation test to determine the relationship between variables if found a relationship followed by multiple regression test. Primary data in the form of interview data were analyzed using a Likert scale. The results of the research in 3 districts have a different relationship and influence on the productivity of ginger plants. The climate factors of rainfall, rainy days, and average air temperature have a relationship to the productivity of ginger plants and the average air temperature is the dominant climate factors with an effect of 61.1% on the productivity of ginger plants in Ngantang District. Furthermore, the climate factors of the average air temperature and maximum air temperature has a relationship to the productivity of ginger plants and the average air temperature is the dominant climate factors with an effect of 50% on the productivity of ginger plants in Singosari District. Finally, the climatic factors of average air temperature, maximum air temperature, and average air humidity have a relationship to the productivity of ginger plants and the average air temperature is the dominant climate factors with an effect of 57.8% on the productivity of ginger plants in Tajinan District
