Abstract
UMKM menjadi salah satu sector penting yang mendukung daya hidup masyarakat khususnya UMKM di bidang pengolahan makanan. Jumlah Pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Tuban berjumlah 11.404 unit. UMKM harus memiliki karakteristik dan kompetensi kewirausahaan. Kedua faktor tersebut dapat membantu pengusaha untuk menghadapi tantangan lingkungan dalam dunia bisnis yang dinamis dan mencapai kinerja bisnis tinggi. Parameter penentuan dalam melakukan percepatan proses inovasi biasa disebut dengan karakteristik inovasi. Karakteristik inovasi ini bersifat dari difusi inovasi. Adapun beberapa tahapan dalam karakteristik inovasi meliputi: relative advantage (keuntungan relatif), compatibility (keserasian), complexity (kerumitan), trialability (kemungkinan dicoba), dan observability. Adapun beberapa variable yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap Inovasi dan bagaimana implikasi inovasi terhadap kinerja usaha UMKM di Kabupaten Tuban yaitu orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi pelanggan, orientasi pesaing, dukungan pemerintah, inovasi serta kinerja usaha. Dalam penelitian iniakan dilakukan pemodelan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dan implikasinya terhadap kinerja UMKM yang ada di Kabupaten Tuban. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah 100 UMKM pangan di Kabupaten Tuban dengan purpovise judgement sampling. Data yang didapatkan kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan metode SEM untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel- variabel yang diuji. Hasilnya penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja usaha adalah orientasi pelanggan, orientasi pesaing, dukungan pemerintah dan inovasi. English Abstract
Micro, Small Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) are one of the important sectors that support people's livelihoods, especially MSMEs in the field of food processing. The number of MSME actors in Tuban Regency is 11,404 units. MSMEs must have entrepreneurial characteristics and competencies. These two factors can help entrepreneurs to face environmental challenges in a dynamic business world and achieve high business performance. The determining parameter in accelerating the innovation process is commonly referred to as the innovation characteristic. The characteristics of this innovation are the diffusion of innovation. The several stages in the characteristics of innovation include: relative advantage (relative advantage), compatibility (compatibility), complexity (complexity), trialability (possibility to try), and observability. There are several variables that can affect innovation and how the implications of innovation on MSME business performance in Tuban Regency are entrepreneurial orientation, customer orientation, competitor orientation, government support, innovation and business performance. In this study, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and its implications for the performance of SMEs in Tuban Regency will be carried out. The sample in this study was 100 food MSMEs in Tuban Regency with purposive judgment sampling. The data obtained were then processed using the SEM method to determine the relationship between the variables tested. The results showed that the factors that influence business performance are customer orientation, competitor orientation, government support and innovation.
