Abstract
Tanaman anggrek Dendrobium merupakan salah satu tanaman hias yang sangat popular di kalangan masyarakat. Permintaan tanaman hias dari tahun ke tahun selalu mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini tidak sejalan dengan produksi tanaman anggrek Dendrobium yang cenderung menurun setiap tahunnya yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti penyediaan bibit yang terbatas, kualitas bibit yang masih rendah dan metode teknik budidaya yang dilakukan belum cukup baik. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman anggrek adalah dengan menggunakan perkembangbiakan secara kultur jaringan. Salah satu tahap yang dilakukan dari metode kultur jaringan adalah aklimatisasi. Aklimatisasi merupakan pemindahan bibit tanaman anggrek dari botol kultur jaringan ke dalam pot besar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh kombinasi media tanam dan pupuk daun terhadap pertumbuhan anggrek Dendrobium (Dendrobium discolor Lindl.). Hipotesis dari penelitian ini ialah terdapat pengaruh kombinasi antara Pupuk Growmore 32-10-10 dengan media tanam arang kayu pada saat proses pertubuhan Tanaman Anggrek Dendrobium (Dendrobium discolor Lindl.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2022 hingga Juni 2022 di DD Orchid yang beralamat di Jl. Martorejo Gg. Orchid RT 03/RW 03 Areng- Areng, Dadaprejo, Junrejo, Batu dengan ketinggian 600-2.000 mdpl dan curah hujan mencapai 160mm/bulan, dengan suhu minimun 18 ̊C dan suhu maksimum mencapai 31 ̊C. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah trey, bak plastik, pinset, cup plastik, handsprayer, kertas label, penggaris atau meteran jahit, koran, gelas ukur dan sendok ukur, Soil Plant Analysis Development (SPAD), alat tulis, dan kamera. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah bibit anggrek Dendrobium botolan berumur kurang lebih 8 bulan, media tanam moss, sabut kelapa, arang kayu, pupuk daun Growmore 32-10-10 dan Gandasil D 20-15-15. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan non faktorial yang dirancang dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 2 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Pertama yaitu perbedaan media tanam yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu media tanam moss, sabut kelapa, dan arang kayu. Kedua adalah perbedaan pupuk daun yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu tanpa pupuk, pupuk Growmore 32-10-10, dan pupuk Gandasil D 20-15-15. Kedua perlakuan tersebut dikombinasikan sehingga diperoleh 9 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan sehingga didapatkan 27 satuan kombinasi percobaan. Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 20 tanaman sehingga total keseluruhan tanaman adalah 540 tanaman. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahap aklimatisasi tanaman, parameter yang diamati adalah persentase tumbuh (%), panjang tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (daun tan-1), jumlah anakan (anakan tan-1), indeks klorofil (unit), panjang akar (cm), dan jumlah akar (akar tan-1). Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini akan dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA dan akan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji BNJ (Beda Nyata Jujur) dengan taraf 5% untuk mengetahui perbedaan diantara perlakuan. ii Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat beberapa kesimpulan diantaranya yaitu, media tanam moss, sabut kelapa, dan arang kayu berpengaruh sama dan dapat digunakan pada saat proses aklimatisasi tanaman anggrek Dendrobium, pupuk daun Growmore 32-10-10 dan Gandasil D 20-15-15 dapat digunakan untuk tanaman anggrek pada saat proses aklimatisasi dan menghasilkan nilai yang tidak berbeda nyata, kombinasi media tanam arang kayu dan pupuk Growmore 32-10-10 maupun pupuk Gandasil D 20-15-15 dapat meningkatkan nilai rerata persentase tumbuh, panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, indeks klorofil, panjang akar, dan jumlah akar pada tanaman anggrek.
English Abstract
Dendrobium orchid is one of the most popular ornamental plants among the public. The demand for ornamental plants from year to year is always increasing. This is not in line with the production of dendrobium orchids which tends to decrease every year due to several factors, such as limited supply of seeds, low seed quality and the method of cultivation techniques that are not good enough. Efforts that can be made to increase the production of orchid plants is to use tissue culture propagation. One of the steps taken from the tissue culture method is acclimatization. Acclimatization is the transfer of orchid seeds from tissue culture bottles into large pots. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of the combination of planting media and foliar fertilizer on the growth of Dendrobium orchids (Dendrobium discolor Lindl.). The hypothesis of this research is that there is an effect of the combination of Growmore 32-10-10 Fertilizer with wood charcoal growing media during the growth process of the Dendrobium Orchid (Dendrobium discolor Lindl.). This research was conducted from February 2022 until June 2022 in DD Orchid which is located at Jl. Martorejo Gg. Orchid RT 03/RW 03 Areng-Areng, Dadaprejo, Junrejo, Batu with an altitude of 600-2.000 meters above sea level and up to 160mm of rainfal per month. Batu City is also a mountainous area with a minimum temperature of 18 ̊C and a maximum temperature of 31 ̊C. The tools used in this research are trey, plastic tub, tweezers, plastic cup, handsprayer, label paper, sewing ruler or meter, newspaper, measuring cup and measuring spoon, Soil Plant Analysis Development (SPAD), and camera. The materials used in this study were bottled Dendrobium orchid seeds aged approximately 8 months, planting media for black moss or kadaka root, coconut husk, wood charcoal, Growmore 32-10-10 leaf fertilizer, and Gandasil D 20-15-15 fertilizer. This research is a non-factorial experiment designed with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 treatment combinations with 3 replications. The first is the difference in planting media which consists of 3 levels, namely black moss, coconut husk, and wood charcoal. The second is the difference in foliar fertilizer which consists of 3 levels, namely without fertilizer, Growmore 32-10-10 fertilizer, and Gandasil D fertilizer 20-15-15. The two treatments were combined to obtain 9 treatment combinations with 3 replications to obtain 27 experimental combination units. The two treatments were combined so that it became an interaction that obtained 9 treatment combinations with 3 replications so that 27 experimental combination units were obtained. Each treatment consisted of 20 plants so that the total number of plants was 540 plants. The study was conducted at the plant acclimatization stage, the parameters observed were growth percentage (%), plant lenght (cm), number of leaves (leaf tan-1), number of tillers (tillers tan-1), chlorophyll index (unit), root length (cm), and number of roots (root tan-1). The data obtained from this study will be analyzed using the ANOVA (Analysist of Variant) test and further tests will be carried out using the BNJ test (Honest Significant Difference) with a level of 5% to determine the difference between treatments. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, there are several conclusions including, moss, coconut husk, and wood charcoal planting media have the same effect and can be used during the acclimatization process of Dendrobium orchids, Growmore 32-10-10 leaf fertilizer and Gandasil D 20-15- 15 can be used for orchids during the acclimatization process and produce values that are not significantly different, the combination of wood charcoal and Growmore 32-10-10 fertilizer and Gandasil D 20-15-15 fertilizer can increase the average value of growth percentage, plant length, number of leaves, number of tillers, chlorophyll index, root length, and number of roots in orchid plants.
