Abstract

Seledri dimanfaatkan sebagai sayuran pelengkap atau penyedap rasa dan bermanfaat di bidang kesehatan. Perbaikan budidaya pada tanaman seledri dapat dilakukan dengan pemupukan. Kebutuhan N seledri dapat dipenuhi dengan aplikasi pupuk urea yang mengandung 46% N. Selain dapat meningkatkan ketersediaan unsur hara, pupuk kotoran kambing juga dapat memperbaiki kualitas tanah sehingga penyerapan unsur hara optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari interaksi antara dosis pupuk N dan pupuk kotoran kambing serta mendapatkan dosis pupuk N dan pupuk kotoran kambing yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini ialah terdapat interaksi antara dosis pupuk N dan pupuk kotoran kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri, pemberian dosis pupuk N tertentu dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri, dan pemberian dosis pupuk kotoran kambing tertentu dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei - Juli 2022 di Desa Sumberejo, Kecamatan Batu, Kota Batu dengan ketinggian 910 m dpl, rata-rata suhu udara harian 19-22 oC, dan kelembaban udara sebesar 89 - 95%. Alat yang digunakan terdiri dari cangkul, tugal, alat tulis, gembor, alvaboard, penggaris, Leaf Area Meter (LAM), timbangan digital, spektofotometer, pistil dan mortar, oven, dan kamera ponsel. Sedangkan bahan yang ialah benih seledri varietas Amigo, pupuk kotoran kambing, pupuk N (urea), aceton 80%, kertas Whatman No. 42, dan pestisida nabati. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan faktorial yang di rancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 ulangan terdiri 2 faktor. Faktor pertama, dosis pupuk N terdiri dari 4 taraf yakni 25 kg ha-1, 75 kg ha-1, 125 kg ha-1 dan 175 kg ha-1. Faktor kedua, dosis pupuk kotoran kambing terdiri dari 3 taraf meliputi 0 ton ha-1, 15 ton ha-1, dan 30 ton ha-1. Terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan sehingga didapatkan 36 satuan kombinasi percobaan. Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 42 tanaman sehingga terdapat total 1.512 tanaman. Analisa data menggunakan Analisa ragam atau uji F pada taraf 5%. Hasil yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji perbandingan antar perlakuan menggunakan uji lanjut BNJ 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara pemberian dosis pupuk N dan pupuk kotoran kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanaman seledri. Pemberian dosis pupuk N 125 kg ha-1 dan 175 kg ha-1 meningkatkan pertumbuhan panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, luas daun, bobot kering, dan laju pertumbuhan tanaman, masing-masing sebesar 18,50%; 16,57%; 40,30%; 21,61%; 39,90%; dan 107,4%. Pemberian dosis pupuk N 125 kg ha-1 dan 175 kg ha-1 meningkatkan bobot segar total tanaman, bobot segar konsumsi per rumpun, per petak, dan per hektar, serta shoot root rasio, masing- masing sebesar 81,17%; 82,44%; 82,53%; 82,54%; dan 118%. Pemberian dosis pupuk kotoran kambing tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri.

English Abstract

Celery as one of the horticulture commodities which remainly used as a complementary or flavoring vegetable. The celery plant has many benefits in the medical field, in term of flavour leaves. Improvement in celery cultivation able to obtain through fertilization both of organic and anorganic fertilizer. The requirrement of nitrogen as urea fertilizer that contains 46% N. In addition nutrients can be applied by goat manure which improve soil quality by enhance soil microbe surround rizhosphere. Therefore celery can optimally uptake the nutrien in soil. The aims of this research are to obtain the interaction at the dose of nitrogen and goat manure and to get the right dose of nitrogen and goat manure on growth and yield of celery. While the hypothesis in this research, there is an interaction at the dose of nitrogen and goat manure on growth and yield of celery, increase the dose of nitrogen able to enhance the growth and yield of celery, and increase the dose of goat manure able to enhance the growth and yield of celery. The research was conducted from May to July 2022 in Sumberejo Village, Batu District, Batu East Java. The location of research was placed on altitude of 910 m above sea level, an average air temperature at about 19 - 22 oC, and humidity of 89 - 95%. The tools that were used are hoe, marker, alvaboard, stationery, ruler, leaf area meter (LAM), digital scale, spectrophotometer, pistil and mortar, oven, and camera. While the materials that were used are celery seeds of Amigo variety, goat manure, nitrogen (Urea), 80% acetone, Whatman paper No. 42, and organic pesticide. This research is a factorial experiment designed using a randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications consist of 2 factors. The first factor is nitrogen level consist of 4 levels: 25 kg ha-1, 75 kg ha-1, 125 kg ha-1 and 175 kg ha-1. Second factor is dose of goat manure consist of 3 levels: 0 tons ha-1, 15 tons ha-1, and 30 tons ha-1. There are 12 treatment combinations and total 36 experimental combination units. Each treatment consist of 42 plant, hence the total population is 1.512. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance or F test at the 5% level. Significantly different results were continued with a comparison test between treatments using HSD test at 5% level. The result of the research shows that there is no interaction at the dose of nitrogen and goat manure on growth and yield of celery. Application of nitrogen at around 125 kg ha-1 and 175 kg ha-1 could able to incline length of plant, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf area, dry weight, and plant growth rate, in respectively 18,5%; 16,57%; 40,3%; 21,61%; 39,9%; and 107,4%. Meanwhile for the yield, the doses of nitrogen at 125 kg ha-1 and 175 kg ha-1 could able to incline the total fresh weight, fresh weight-consumption per plot as well as per hectare, and shoot root ratio, in respectively 81,17%; 82,44%; 82,53%; 82,54%; and 118%. The dose of goat manure does not show a significant effect on growth and yield of celery.
