Abstract

Cabai besar (Capsicum annuum L.) termasuk jenis tanaman sayuran famili Solanaceae yang sangat penting di Indonesia. Kebutuhan cabai besar di Indonesia semakin meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan populasi penduduk. Tanaman cabai besar banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat di Indonesia dalam bentuk segar maupun olahan. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (2018), produksi cabai besar pada tahun 2014 sebesar 1.074.641 ton turun menjadi 1.045.200 ton pada tahun 2015. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui keefektivan pupuk hayati dengan kombinasi pupuk NPK dan ZA yang berguna untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) dan mengetahui pengaruh pupuk Sinar Bio, NPK dan ZA pada pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.). Hipotesis penelitian ini ialah terdapat kombinasi paling baik antara pupuk Sinar Bio, NPK dan ZA yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2020 di Kebun Percobaan FP UB yang terletak di Kelurahan Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 12 perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan sehingga total petak percobaan adalah 36 petak.perlakuan yang digunakan adalah P0 = Kontrol; P1 = 800 kg ha-1 NPK + 200 kg ha-1 ZA; P2 = 40 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio; P3= 40 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 200 kg ha-1 NPK + 50 kg ha-1 ZA; P4 = 40 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 400 kg ha-1 NPK + 100 kg ha-1 ZA; P5 = 40 kg ha-1 + 600 kg ha-1 NPK + 150 kg ha-1 ZA; P6 = 40 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 800 kg ha-1 NPK + 200 kg ha-1 ZA; P7 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio; P8 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 200 kg ha-1 NPK + 50 kg ha-1 ZA; P9 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 400 kg ha-1 NPK + 100 kg ha-1 ZA; P10 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 600 kg ha-1 NPK + 150 kg ha-1 ZA; P11 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 800 kg ha-1 NPK + 200 kg ha-1 ZA. Variable pengamatan yang diamati antara lain: tinggi tanaman, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah, persentase fruitset, jumlah daun, luas daun, intersepsi cahaya, suhu tanah, kelembaban tanah, serapan NPK, jumlah buah/tanaman, total jumlah buah, hasil panen per petak dan hasil panen per hektar. Data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F) pada taraf 5%. Apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata (F hitung > F tabel 5%), maka dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ (Beda Nyata Jujur) pada taraf 5% untuk mengetahui perbedaan diantara perlakuan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil pemberian pupuk hayati Sinar Bio dosis 40 dan 60 kg ha-1 memberikan hasil yang sama dengan dosis pupuk an organik yang biasa digunakan petani NPK 800 kg ha-1 dan ZA 200 kg ha-1 (rekomendasi). Kombinasi pupuk hayati Sinar Bio dosis 40 dan 60 kg ha-1 dengan pupuk an organik NPK dan ZA memberikan hasil yang sama dengan dosis pupuk an organik NPK 800 kg ha-1 dan ZA 200 kg ha-1 yang biasa digunakan petani (rekomendasi). Pemberian kombinasi pupuk hayati Sinar Bio 40 kg ha-1 dan 60 kg ha-1 dengan NPK 800 kg ha-1 dan ZA 200 kg ha-1 efektif untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan produksi tanaman cabai merah. Pemberian pupuk hayati Sinar Bio dosis 40 kg ha-1 memiliki R/C ratio lebih kecil yaitu 1,88 dibandingkan dengan kombinasi pupuk hayati Sinar Bio dosis 40 kg ha-1 dengan pupuk an organik NPK 800 kg ha-1 dan ZA 200 kg ha ha-1 yaitu 1,93. Namun secara keseluruhan penggunaan pupuk hayati Sinar Bio 40 kg ha-1 masih layak dan menguntungkan apabila digunakan oleh petani.

English Abstract

Red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is a type of vegetable plant in the Solanaceae family which is very important in Indonesia. The need for large chili in Indonesia is increasing along with population growth. Large chili plants are widely consumed by people in Indonesia in both fresh and processed forms. Based on data from the Badan Pusat Statistik (2018), large chili production in 2014 was 1,074,641 tons down to 1,045,200 tons in 2015. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of biological fertilizers with a combination of NPK and ZA fertilizers which are useful for increase the growth and production of red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) and determine the effect of Sinar Bio, NPK and ZA fertilizers on the growth and production of red chili (Capsicum annuum L.). The hypothesis of this research is that there is the best combination of Sinar Bio, NPK and ZA fertilizers that are right for the growth and production of red chili (Capsicum annuum L.). This research was carried out from July to October 2020 at the Experimental Garden of FP UB which is located in Jatimulyo Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang. This study used a Randomized Block Design consisting of 12 treatments with 3 replications so that the total experimental plots were 36 plots. The treatments used were P0 = Control; P1 = 800 kg ha-1 NPK + 200 kg ha-1 ZA; P2 = 40 kg ha- 1 Sinar Bio; P3= 40 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 200 kg ha-1 NPK + 50 kg ha-1 ZA; P4 = 40 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 400 kg ha-1 NPK + 100 kg ha-1 ZA; P5 = 40 kg ha-1 + 600 kg ha-1 NPK + 150 kg ha-1 ZA; P6 = 40 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 800 kg ha-1 NPK + 200 kg ha-1 ZA; P7 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio; P8 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 200 kg ha-1 NPK + 50 kg ha-1 ZA; P9 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 400 kg ha-1 NPK + 100 kg ha-1 ZA; P10 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 600 kg ha-1 NPK + 150 kg ha-1 ZA; P11 = 60 kg ha-1 Sinar Bio + 800 kg ha-1 NPK + 200 kg ha-1 ZA. The observed variables were plant height, number of flowers, number of fruits, percentage of fruitset, number of leaves, leaf area, light interception, soil temperature, soil moisture, NPK uptake, number of fruits/plants, total number of fruits, yields per plot. and yields per hectare. The data that has been obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) at the 5% level. If there is a significant effect (F count > F table 5%). Then proceed with the Tukey test at the 5% level to know the difference between treatments. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that the application of Sinar Bio biofertilizer doses of 40 and 60 kg ha-1 gave the same results as the doses of inorganik fertilizers commonly used by farmers for NPK 800 kg -1 and ZA 200 kg ha-1 (recommendation). The combination of Sinar Bio biological fertilizers at doses of 40 and 60 kg ha-1 with inorganik fertilizers NPK and ZA gave the same results as the doses of inorganik fertilizers NPK 800 kg ha-1 and ZA 200 kg ha-1 commonly used by farmers (recommendation). The combination of Sinar Bio's biological fertilizer 40 kg ha-1 and 60 kg ha-1 with NPK 800 kg ha-1 and ZA 200 kg ha-1 was effective in increasing the growth of red chili production. The application of Sinar Bio biological fertilizer at a dose of 40 kg ha-1 has a smaller R/C ratio of 1.88 compared to the combination of Sinar Bio biofertilizer at a dose of 40 kg ha-1 with an organik fertilizer NPK 800 kg ha-1 and ZA 200 kg ha ha-1 is 1.93. However, the overall use of Sinar Bio's 40 kg ha-1 biofertilizer is still feasible and profitable if used by farmers.
