Abstract

Wereng Batang Coklat (Nilaparvata lugens Stal, Hemiptera: Delphacidae) merupakan salah satu hama utama tanaman padi dan salah satu predator untuk pengendalian hama wereng batang coklat adalah predator Cyrtorhinus lividipennis. Faktor abiotik dan konsentrasi buprofezin berpengaruh terhadap populasi hama N.lugens dan predator C.lividipennis di pertanaman padi (Oryza sativa L). Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari hubungan suhu, kelembaban dan insektisida buprofezin terhadap populasi serangga hama N.lugens, predator C.lividipennis di pertanaman padi. Penelitian lapang dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober hingga bulan November 2021 pada pertanaman padi yang berlokasi di Desa Pulungdowo, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang. Luas lahan yang digunakan yaitu 900m2, dengan ukuran petak pengamatan 4x5 m. Sehingga dapat dibagi menjadi 25 satuan petak percobaan. Pada penelitian ini diaplikasikan insektisida buprofezin dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda yaitu pada konsentrasi 1,00 ml/l, 0,75 ml/l, 0,50 ml/l, 0,25 ml/l dan 0 ml/l. Disetiap petak percobaan dilakukan dengan cara menghitung populasi individu hama N.lugens dan predator C.lividipennis secara langsung di setiap 5 rumpun tanaman sampel di setiap petak percobaan dan diambil secara diagonal. Selain itu, dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan pengukuran suhu dan kelembaban pada lokasi penelitian menggunakan alat termohygrometer. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi menggunakan program analisis statistika dengan uji analisis regresi linear dan uji analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis regresi linear suhu dan kelembaban tidak berhubungan dengan kelimpahan nimfa dan imago N.lugens, namun konsentrasi insektisida buprofezin berhubungan dengan kelimpahan nimfa dan imago N.lugens. Selain itu hasil analisis regresi berganda suhu, kelembaban dan konsentrasi buprofezin secara bersamaan berhubungan dengan kelimpahan nimfa dan imago N.lugens. Kemudian hasil analisis regresi linear suhu dan kelembaban tidak berhubungan dengan kelimpahan predator C.lividipennis, namun konsentrasi insektisida buprofezin berhubungan dengan kelimpahan predator C.lividipennis. Selain itu hasil analisis regresi berganda suhu, kelembaban dan konsentrasi buprofezin secara bersamaan berhubungan dengan kelimpahan predator C.lividipennis.

English Abstract

Brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal, Hemiptera: Delphacidae) is one of the main pests of paddy and one of the predators for controlling brown planthopper pests is Cyrtorhinus lividipennis. Abiotic factors and buprofezin concentration affected the population of N.lugens and predatory C.lividipennis pests in paddy (Oryza sativa L). This study aims to study the relationship between temperature, humidity and the insecticide buprofezin on the population of insect pests of N.lugens, a predator of C.lividipennis in paddy field. Field research was carried out from October to November 2021 on paddy field located in Pulungdowo Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. The land area used is 900m2, with an observation plot size of 4x5 m. So it can be divided into 25 experimental plot units. In this study, the insecticide buprofezin was applied with different concentrations, namely at concentrations of 1.00 ml/l, 0.75 ml/l, 0.50 ml/l, 0.25 ml/l and 0 ml/l. In each experimental plot, the individual population of N.lugens and predatory C.lividipennis pests was calculated directly in every 5 sample plant clumps in each experimental plot and taken diagonally.. In addition, data was collected by measuring temperature and humidity at the research site using a thermohygrometer. Data were analyzed using regression test using statistical analysis program with linear regression analysis test and multiple regression analysis test. The results of linear regression analysis of temperature and humidity were not related to the abundance of N.lugens nymphs and imago, but the concentration of the insecticide buprofezin was related to the abundance of N.lugens nymphs and imagos. In addition, the results of multiple regression analysis of temperature, humidity and concentration of buprofezin were simultaneously associated with the abundance of N.lugens nymphs and imagos. Then the results of linear regression analysis of temperature and humidity were not related to the abundance of predators of C.lividipennis, but the concentration of the insecticide buprofezin was related to the abundance of predators of C.lividipennis. In addition, the results of multiple regression analysis of temperature, humidity and concentration of buprofezin simultaneously correlated with the abundance of C.lividipennis predators.
