Abstract
Pengaruh Dosis Pupuk Anorganik Majemuk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium cepa) Serta Sifat Fisik Dan Kimia Tanah. Dibimbing oleh Kurniawan Sigit Wicaksono sebagai Dosen Pembimbing utama dan Syahrul Kurniawan Sebagai Dosen Pembimbing pendamping Banyaknya manfaat dari tanaman bawang merah menyebabkan kebutuhan tanaman bawang merah di Indonesia meningkat dari tahun ke tahun namun tidak diikuti ketersediaan bawang merah. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hara tanaman yaitu dengan pemberian pupuk karena pemberian pupuk yang mampu menyesuaikan kondisi tanah sesuai dengan yang tanaman bawang merah butuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh pemberian pupuk anorganik majemuk terhadap sifat fisik serta sifat kimia tanah dan menganalisa pengaruh pemberian pupuk anorganik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan di Lahan Percobaan FP-UB, Kelurahan Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. Penelitian ini disusun dalam RAK yang terdiri dari 8 perlakuan dengan dosis yang berbeda dan 3 ulangan sehingga terdapat 24 petak lahan. Perlakuan penelitian meliputi: 1) N0 Kontrol (Tanpa Pemupukan); 2) N1 pupuk anorganik dasar (Urea, SP36, KCl); 3) N2 75% pupuk dasar + pupuk anorganik majemuk dosis 50%; 4) N3 75% pupuk dasar + pupuk anorganik majemuk dosis 100%; 5) N4 75% Pupuk dasar + pupuk anorganik majemuk dosis 150%; 6) N5 50% pupuk dasar + pupuk anorganik majemuk dosis 50%; 7) N6 50% pupuk dasar + pupuk anorganik majemuk dosis 100%; 8) N7 50% Pupuk dasar + pupuk anorganik majemuk dosis 150%. Parameter sifat fisik tanah terdiri dari berat isi, berat jenis, dan porositas serta parameter sifat kimia terdiri pH, N, P, dan K. Sedangkan parameter tanaman meliputi pertumbuhan yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, dan jumlah daun serta produksi tanaman meliputi biomassa tanaman, jumlah anakan, berat basah dan berat kering umbi. Keragaman data parameter pengamatan diuji dengan ANOVA 5% perbedaan antar perlakuan diuji dengan DMRT taraf 5% Pemberian berbagai dosis pupuk anorganik majemuk tidak berpengaruh nyata (P > 0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman bawang merah, namun mampu meningkatkan produksi tanaman bawang merah meliputi biomassa tanaman, jumlah anakan, berat basah, dan berat kering umbi. Hasil produksi biomassa, jumlah anakan, berat basah umbi, dan berat kering umbi tanaman bawang merah tertinggi terdapat pada kode N7 dengan perlakuan 50% pupuk dasar + pupuk anorganik majemuk 150%. Perbedaan dosis aplikasi pupuk anorganik majemuk tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P>0,05) terhadap sifat fisik tanah namun dapat memperbaiki sifat kimia tanah yaitu unsur hara. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dosis yang dianjurkan kepada petani yaitu sebaiknya dengan dosis 50% pupuk dasar + 150% Pupuk Anorganik majemuk. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dosis tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang baik terhadap produksi tanaman bawang merah dibanding dosis yang lainnya.
English Abstract
The Effect of Compound Inorganic Fertilizers on Production of Onion (Allium cepa) and Physical and Chemical Properties of Soil. Under guidance of Kurniawan Sigit Wicaksono as the supervisor and Syahrul Kurniawan as the co-supevsior. Onion become one of the popular horticulture commodity in Indonesia due to the crop have amount of benefit. As consequently, the deman of onion In Indonesia increase annually. In contrast, the supply of onion is fluctuate because of unstable onion production. One of factor that affecting the unstable onion production is soil fertility degradation. Therefore, the study aimed to analyze the effect of different dose of inorganic fertilizer compound on physical and chemical properties of soil, plant growth and production. The field research was conducted in the experimental land of Agriculture Faculty Universitas Brawijaya, located in Jatimulyo Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City. This research was designed using Randomized Blick Designed (RBD), consist of 8 treatments and 3 replicates f each, totalling 24 plots. The treatment included : 1) N0 Control ( Without fertilization ); 2) N1 Basic inorganic fertilizer (Urea, SP36, KCl) ; 3) N2 75% Basic fertilizer + 50% compound inorganic fertilizer ; 4) N3 75% Basic fertilizer + 100% compound inorganic fertilizer ; 5) N4 75% Basic fertilizer + compound inorganic fertilizer 150% dose ; 6) N5 50% Basic fertilizer + 50% compound inorganic fertilizer ; 7) N6 50% Basic fertilizer + 100% compound inorganic fertilizer ; 8) N7 50% Basic fertilizer + compound inorganic fertilizer 150% dose . The variable measured in this research consisted of soil physics i.e., soil bulk density, soil particle density, total porosity, and soil texture) and soil chemistry (i.e., pH, N, P, and K). In addition, to analyze the impact of difference doses of fertilization was conducted by measuring plant growth (i.e., plant height, leaf number, tillers number) and production (i.e., tillers number and total yield). Differences among treatments was anlyzed by using ANOVA 5%, and further analysis was tested with DMRT at level 5%. This research couldn’t detect a significant difference fertilization doses on onion plant growth but able to increase the production total yield and tillers number. The highest yield of biomass production and the number of Onion was in code N7 with an average yield of biomass measurement and an average measurement of the number of tillers. 10.60 per clump. In contrast, the yield of biomass production and the lowest number of tillers were found in the control treatment code N0 with an average biomass. Differences in application doses of inorganic compound fertilizer was significantly affected (P<0,05) to soil chemical properties (i.e., soil pH, available P, soil exchangeable K). Unfortunately, the study was unable to detect significant differences of fertilizer doses on soil physical properties (i.e., bulk density, particle density, total porosity). Based on this research, the recommended dose for farmers is 50% Basic Fertilizer + 150% Compound Inorganic Fertilizer because this dose has a good effect on onion crop production compared to other doses.
