Kajian Tingkat Stres Remaja Usia 15-18 Tahun Terhadap Frekuensi Konsumsi Produk Kaya Cokelat Selama Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

Cokelat adalah olahan yang disajikan dari biji dan lemak kakao. Beberapa produk cokelat disajikan dan ditambahkan bahan lain seperti gula dan susu. Kandungan cokelat seperti alkaloid theobromine, fenetilamina, dan anandamida, diketahui memiliki efek fisiologis dalam meningkatkan suasana hati. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji tingkat stres remaja terhadap frekuensi konsumsi produk kaya cokelat selama pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional dengan sampel terpilih adalah remaja usia 15-18 tahun yang pernah atau sedang Study From Home, dengan jumlah 426 responden. Variabel yang diukur adalah tingkat stres menggunakan kuesioner DASS-21 dan frekuensi konsumsi produk kaya cokelat dengan kuesioner FFQ yang telah diuji coba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang berjenis kelamin perempuan lebih banyak mengalami stres daripada responden laki-laki. Responden menyukai produk cokelat susu merk choki-choki, chacha, dan silverqueen sedangkan makanan kaya cokelat yang disukai adalah roti isi cokelat, oreo dan kue cokelat, serta minuman kaya cokelat yang disukai adalah ice cream rasa cokelat, cokelat panas dan milkshake cokelat. Hasil Analisa dengan menggunakan Spearmans’s Rank didapatkan hasil tidak ada hubungan antara kejadian stres terhadap frekuensi konsumsi cokelat susu, makanan kaya cokelat dan minuman kaya cokelat dengan p>0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat stres remaja terhadap frekuensi konsumsi produk kaya cokelat.

English Abstract

Chocolate is a preparation that is served from cocoa beans and fat. Some chocolate products are served and add other ingredients such as sugar and milk. The content of chocolate such as theobromine alkaloids, phenethylamine, and anandamide, is known to have physiological effects in improving mood. The purpose of this study was to examine the stress level of adolescents on the frequency of consumption of chocolate-rich products during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used a cross sectional approach with the selected sample being adolescents aged 15-18 years who had or were studying from home, with a total of 426 respondents. The variables measured were stress levels using the DASS-21 questionnaire and the frequency of consumption of chocolate-rich products using the FFQ questionnaire which had been tested. The results showed that female respondents experienced more stress than male respondents. Respondents liked milk chocolate products with the brands choki-choki, chacha, and silverqueen, while their preferred chocolate-rich foods were chocolate sandwiches, oreos and chocolate cakes, and their preferred chocolate-rich drinks were chocolate ice cream, hot chocolate and chocolate milkshakes. The results of the analysis using Spearman's Rank showed that there was no relationship between the incidence of stress on the frequency of consumption of milk chocolate, chocolate-rich foods and chocolate-rich drinks with p>0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is no significant relationship between adolescent stress levels and the frequency of consumption of chocolate-rich products.
