Abstract
Generasi Millenial atau Gen Y merupakan angkatan kerja yang akan mendominasi di setiap perusahaan dimasa mendatang di Indonesia, khususnya di bidang perbankan seperti di Bank Rakyat Indonesia dan Kantor Inspeksi BRI Malang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan situasional, budaya organisasi dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan motivasi kerja auditor millenial di Kantor Inspeksi BRI Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 63 orang auditor millenial dengan metode partial least square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan situasional memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dan motivasi kerja serta memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi kerja auditor millenial di Kantor Inspeksi BRI Malang. Budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan motivasi kerja serta memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja. Pelatihan memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan atas kinerja karyawan namun memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa budaya organisasi yang lemah dan pelatihan yang tidak meningkatkan keterampilan dan memberikan ruang apresiasi kepada auditor millenial, memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan motivasi kerja auditor millenial di Kantor Inspeksi BRI Malang.
English Abstract
Generation Millenial or Gen Y is the work force that will dominate in every company in the future in Indonesia, especially in banking such as in Bank Rakyat Indonesia and Inspection Office of BRI Malang The purpose of this research is to know the influence of situational leadership, organizational culture and training on employee performance and work motivation of auditor millenial in Inspection Office of BRI Malang. This study used a sample of 63 millenial auditors with partial least square method. The result of the research shows that the situational leadership has a significant influence on work performance and motivation and has an influence on the performance through work motivation of millenial auditor in Inspection Office of BRI Malang. Organizational culture has an insignificant influence on employee performance and work motivation and has insignificant influence on employee performance through work motivation. Training has an insignificant influence on employee performance but has a significant influence on work motivation and has a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. Motivation of work has a significant influence on employee performance. The conclusion of this study is that weak organizational culture and training that does not improve skill and give appreciation to millenial auditor have insignificant effect on employee performance and work motivation of auditor millenial in Inspection Office of BRI Malang.
