Abstract
COVID-19 atau virus korona telah menjadi pandemi global sejak akhir tahun 2019 dan belum ditemukan vaksin yang tepat hingga saat ini. Untuk mencegah penularannya, diperlukan usaha individu untuk meningkatkan imunitas tubuh salah satunya dengan konsumsi pangan bergizi seperti minuman probiotik. Umumnya minuman probiotik dipasarkan dalam bentuk susu fermentasi. Produk berbasis susu hewani kurang menjangkau kelompok khusus seperti vegetarian, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan produk minuman probiotik berbasis nabati untuk menjangkau kelompok tertentu, khususnya vegetarian.
English Abstract
COVID-19 or corona virus has become a global pandemic since the end of 2019 and the vaccine has not been found. To prevent the virus transmission, individual efforts are needed to increase body immunity, one of which is by consuming nutritious foods such as probiotic drinks. Generally, probiotic drinks are marketed in the form of fermented milk. Animal milk-based products do not reach special groups such as vegetarians, so it is necessary to promote plant-based probiotic beverage products to reach certain groups, especially vegetarians.
