Abstract
Perusahaan untuk berdaya saing tinggi di era globalisasi, salah satunya yang perlu diperhatikan adalah bidang Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia khususnya dalam disertasi ini memfokuskan pada perilaku pemimpin dalam pelaksanaan kinerjanya, melalui kepemimpinan melayani. Pada era globalisasi saat ini daya saing antar perusahaan telah menjadi begitu kompleks dan tidak mungkin lagi bagi perusahaan untuk menjamin perusahaan tetap eksis di dunia usaha. Salah satu gaya kepemimpinan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui kepercayaan dan komitmen karyawan terhadap perusahaan adalah kepemimpinan yang melayani. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengamati hubungan antara kepemimpinan melayani terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan dimediasi oleh komitmen organisasional dan kepercayaan. Metode penelitian dengan populasi 800 orang yang merupakan seluruh karyawan PT. East West Seed Indonesia yang berada di seluruh Indonesia dengan pengambilan sampel seluruh asisten manager, manager, senior manager serta seluruh direksi. Tehnik pengambilan sampel, responden mengisi secara online, untuk menguatkan hasil penelitian dengan analisa diskriptif melalui wawancara langsung, Forum Group Discussion. Metode yang digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan alat analisa software SEM Wapps PLS. Temuan dari kajian ini mengindikasikan bahwa kepemimpinan melayani tidak mempengaruhi secara langsung kinerja karyawan. Indikator kepemimpinan melayani yang perlu diperhatikan adalah Process Orientation yaitu dengan perbaikan dalam kepemimpinan sehingga pimpinan dapat menjadi panutan karyawan, membangun tim serta melibatkan karyawan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Komitmen organisasional positif berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepemimpinan melayani positif berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan karyawan. Kepercayaan karyawan positif berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komtimen organisasional memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan melayani terhadap kinerja karyawan.
English Abstract
There is no guarantee for a company to exist for long in the business world. In the current era of globalization, the competition between companies has become very complex. Human resource management must be considered by companies in the era of globalization to enhance their competitiveness. This dissertation focuses on the behavior of leaders in their performance, primarily servant leadership. One leadership style to improve employee performance through employees' trust and commitment to the company is leadership that serves. The purpose of this research was to study the effect of servant leadership on the improvement of employee performance mediated by organizational commitment and trust. The research method is quantitative method. The population of this study is 800 people who are all employees of PT. East West Seed Indonesia located throughout Indonesia. Respondents to the questionnaires were assistant managers, managers, senior managers and directors. The data was gathered by online questionnaires. To strengthen the results of the research, the researcher conducted descriptive analysis through Forum Group Discussion direct interview method. The analysis tool used was SEM Wapps PLS software. The findings of this study indicate that servant leadership does not directly affect employee performance. Leadership indicators serving that need to be considered is Process Orientation that is with improvement in leadership so that leaders can be role models employees, build teams and involve employees in decision making. Organizational commitment has a positive effect on employee performance. Servant leadership has a positive effect on employee trust. Employee trust positively affects employee performance. Organizational commitment mediates the influence of servant leadership on employee performance.
