Meidina, Annisa (2021) Literature Review: Hubungan Perinatal Depression Terhadap Faktor Risiko Stunting Pada Anak. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem that has not been resolved until now, and perinatal depression is one of the risk factors that can cause stunting in children. The mother’s role in 1000 HPK (First Day of Life) is very necessary to ensure that all the growth and development needs of children are met optimally. This study aims to determine the relationship between perinatal depression and stunting risk factors. Researcher use boolean operator strategy to improve the chances of finding relevant literature to the topic of the study, and the search terms used were “Maternal depression OR perinatal depression OR antenatal depression OR postnatal depression OR postpartum depression AND stunting”. Seven journals from various research location that is North Ghana, India, Ethiopia, South Africa were reviewed, 4 (four) journals said that there was an association between maternal depression and stunting, namely that maternal depression was associated with non-optimal complementary feeding practices, was significantly associated with the incidence of LBW, and showed an association with stunting.
