Nabilah, Ardania Ilmi (2020) Analisis Risiko Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDS) pada Pekerja Mesin Blowing dengan Metode ART Tool dan REBA (Studi Kasus di CV.Kiki, Malang). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
The work system in Indonesia, especially small industries, is still dominated by manual labor. Repetitive work means that work can be referred to as rapid repetitive movements of the upper limb which can include joints of the shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands within 30 seconds to 60 seconds. One of the impacts that can arise from manual and repetitive work is Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Blowing machine workers at CV. Kiki works for 8 hours and produces an output of 800-2000 products. Because of the nature of the work, blowing machine workers complain of pain in the upper body and legs. Seeing this complaint, it is necessary to identify the risk of MSDs for machine blowing workers CV. Kiki and provide improvements to reduce the risk of MSDs. The method used in this research is the Assessment of Repetitive Task (ART) Tool and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). The ART Tools method for identifying, assessing risky tasks in the upper body. The final result of ART Tools is exposure score and exposure level. The REBA method is used to identify the overall posture of blowing machine workers. The results of the REBA value indicate the level or level of risk faced by workers in carrying out their work. The results of the identification of the risk of ULDs using the ART method on CV Kiki blowing machine workers are classified as high risk on the right arm, and medium risk on the left hand. It can be seen that the highest exposure score is on the right arm of worker 1 at 25.5 and is classified as high risk. The lowest exposure score is that of worker 2's left arm of 18.75 and is classified as medium risk. This means that the condition is almost not allowed to be continued, because if it is continued then the risk of ULDs will continue to increase. The MSDs risk analysis results using REBA are obtained a final REBA score of 11 and are classified as very high risk. This means that the conditions of CV Kiki's workers are dangerous so that changes are needed immediately so that the risk of MSDs does not increase. Improvements made to reduce the risk of MSDs are changing seats to be adjustable, stretching the hands and fingers, giving aids in the form of lever couplings.
