Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial online dengan penerimaan diri pada remaja. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif korelasional, dengan jumlah sampel 587 subjek yang dihitung menggunakan G*Power. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yakni kepada remaja yang menggunakan sosial media. Pengukuran variabel menggunakan skala dukungan sosial online dan Berger’s Self Acceptance Scale. Reliabilitas skala alat ukur dukungan sosial online adalah sebesar 0,890 dan Berger’s Self Acceptance Scale sebesar 0,929 diukur menggunakan cronbach alpha melalui software SPSS 24.0 for windows. Uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus Pearson’s Product Moment dengan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,557>0,005 sehingga tidak terdapat hubungan antara dukungan sosial online dengan penerimaan diri pada remaja.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the correlation between online social support and self-acceptance in adolescents who used social media. The research method uses quantitative correlational, with a total sample of 587 subjects calculated using G*Power. The sampling technique used is puposive sampling namely to adolescents who use social media. The measurement of variables uses online social support scale and Berger's Self Acceptance Scale. The reliability scale of the online social support measuring instrument is 0.890 and the Berger's Self Acceptance Scale is 0.929 measured using Cronbach Alpha through SPSS 24.0 for Windows. Hypothesis testing uses the Pearson's Product Moment with a significance value of 0.557> 0.005, so there is no correlation between online social support and self-acceptance in adolescents.
