Abstract

Beban perawatan penderita skizofrenia menjadi stresor bagi pengasuh utama yang dapat menyebabkan self-compassion dan kesejahteraan subjektif rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan self-compassion dan kesejahteraan subjektif pengasuh utama penderita skizofrenia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bantur Malang. Desain penelitian yaitu observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian yaitu pengasuh utama sebanyak 102 orang yang merawat penderita skizofrenia di rumah selama 24 jam yang diperoleh dengan purposive sampling. Hasil uji korelasi Spearman’s Rank menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara self-compassion dengan kepedulian pada orang lain (r=0.280, ρ=0.004), dukungan sosial (r=0.278, ρ=0.004), fungsi keluarga (r=0.269, ρ=0.006) dan regulasi diri (r=0.264, ρ=0.007) dan terdapat hubungan antara kesejahteraan subjektif dengan hubungan sosial (r=0.538, ρ=0.000), sikap optimis (r=0.356, ρ=0.000), kontrol diri (r=0.306, ρ=0.002) dan harga diri (r=0.279, ρ=0.005). Hasil uji regresi logistik berganda menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial merupakan faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan self-compassion (Exp(B)=3.903) dan hubungan sosial merupakan faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan subjektif (Exp(B)=16.061) pada pengasuh utama penderita skizofrenia. Dukungan sosial memberikan dampak positif bagi psikologis pengasuh utama sehingga memiliki self-compassion yang baik. Perawatan penderita skizofrenia tidak membuat pengasuh utama mengisolasi diri dari lingkungan sosial dan tetap menjalin hubungan sosial yang baik dengan orang lain sehingga memiliki kesejahteraan subjektif yang baik. Fungsi keluarga, dukungan sosial, regulasi diri dan kepedulian pada orang lain memiliki hubungan dengan self-compassion. Dukungan sosial merupakan faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan self-compassion. Harga diri, kontrol diri, sikap optimis dan hubungan sosial memiliki hubungan dengan kesejahteraan subjektif. Hubungan sosial merupakan faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan subjektif pengasuh utama penderita skizofrenia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bantur Malang.

English Abstract

Burden of care people with schizophrenia could be a stressor for primary caregiver that lowered self-compassion and subjective well-being. This research was to analyze factors associated with self-compassion and subjective well-being on the primary caregiver who care people with schizophrenia in working area Puskesmas Bantur Malang. This research used observational analytic design with cross-sectional approach. Sample of this research was the primary caregivers as many as 102 people who care people with schizophrenia at home for 24 hours obtained by purposive sampling. Spearman’s Rank correlation test showed significant correlation between self-compassion with compassion toward others (r=0.280, ρ=0.004), social support (r=0.278, ρ=0.004), family function (r=0.269, ρ=0.006) and self-regulation (r=0.264, ρ=0.007) and there were significant correlation between subjective well-being with social connectedness (r=0.538, ρ=0.000), optimism (r=0.356, ρ=0.000), self-control (r=0.306, ρ=0.002) and self-esteem (r=0.279, ρ=0.005). The results of multiple logistic regression test showed that social support was the most dominant factor associated with self-compassion (Exp(B)=3.903) and social connectedness was the most dominant factor associated with subjective well-being (Exp(B)=16.061) on the primary caregiver of people with schizophrenia. Social support positively impacts the psychologist's primary caregiver so that have a good self-compassion. Caring people with schizophrenia does not make the primary caregiver isolate themselves from the social environment and keep good social connectedness with others so that less burden and good subjective well-being. Family function, social support, self-regulation and compassion toward others was correlated with self-compassion. Social support was the most dominant factor associated with self-compassion. Self-esteem, self-control, optimism and social connectedness was correlated with subjective well-being. Social connectedness was the most dominant factor associated with subjective well-being on the primary caregiver who care people with schizophrenia in working area Puskesmas Bantur Malang.
