Abstract

Penelitianinidilaksanakan di KabupatenBlitar pada tanggal 17Februarisampai17Maret 2019denganmenggunakanayampetelurstrain Isa Brownumur 19–29 minggu.Data diperolehdaricatatanhariankandang yang didapatdaripeternak. Tujuanpenelitianiniadalahuntukmengetahuipenampilanproduksiayampetelurstrain Isa Brown pada faseawalproduksi diKabupatenBlitar. Metode yang digunakanadalahnonexperimentalyaitudengancarapengambilan data sekunder yangkemudiandilakukananalisadengan uji-tterhadapegg mass,berattelur, danmortalitas.Materi yang diamatidalampenelitianiniadalahayampetelurstrain Isa Brownyang berjumlah 104.200 ekordari 50kandangopen housedengansistemkandangbattery. Data penelitiandidapatkan dari 3 farm, yaitu 20kandangdariMatahari farm yang berada di KecamatanSrengat, 20kandangdariRachmat farm di KecamatanPonggok, dan 10 kandangdaripeternakan Bapak Andik di KecamatanNglegokdenganpopulasimasing-masingyaitu 40.600, 44.700, dan 18.900 ekor. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkanbahwarataankoefisienkeragamanegg mash, berattelur, dan mortalitasayampetelurstrainIsa Brown pada umur 19-29 minggu di wilayah Blitarberturutturutsebagaiberikut 8,04%, 4,71%, dan 185,26%. Berdasarkanhasil uji-t didapatkanbahwaratarataegg mashyaitu26,87 g/h (P<0,01), beratteluryaitu52,12 g/butir(P<0,01), dan mortalitasyaitu0,19% (P<0,01), haliniberbedanyatadengan yang ada di standard ISA, yaitu 45,48 g/hari, 55,94 g/butir, dan 0,6 %. Kesimpulan yang diperolehdaripenelitianiniadalahkemampuanproduksiayampetelurstrain Isa Browndi KabupatenBlitardibawah standard. Berdasarkanhasil uji-t didapatkanperbedaan yang nyataantaraegg mash,berattelur, dan mortalitasayampetelurstrain Isa Brown yang ada di wilayah BlitardenganstandardIsa Brown. Saran yang diberikanadalahdenganrendahnyanilaiproduktivitas pada peternakanayampetelurstrain Isa Brown di KabupatenBlitarmakaperludilakukanpeninjauanulangtentangmanajemenpemeliharaannyamulaida risuhulingkungan yang sesuaiuntukternak, kandungannutrisidalamransum, sanitasi dan biosecurity.

English Abstract

The purpose of this research was to studyproduction performance of Isa Brown pra-peak production inBlitar district. Data was taken from local farmerswith total population of 104,200 chickens from50 cages kept inopen house with a battery cage system. The methodology research was non-experiment using secondary data production. Data was analyzed using t-test for comparing between real data derived from local farmer and standard production from Isa Brown. Variables measured on this research were, egg mash, egg weight, and mortality. The results showed that coefficient of variance at egg mash, egg weight, and mortality of Isa Brown in Blitar were 8,04%, 4,71%, and 185,26%. Respectively production ofegg mash, egg weight, and mortality from whole population were 26,87 g/day (P<0,01), 52,12 g/item (P<0,01), and 0,19% (P<0,01). Based on t-test, it as found that there was avery significant of different between the standard production stated by Isa Brown producer with production performance obtained by local farmer.It can be concluded that the production performance of Isa Brown at Blitar district was below the standard production. It is suggested to improve production management especialy on laying hen to obtain target production as stated by breeder.
