Hairspray merupakan produk kosmetik rambut yang mengandung zat berbahaya yakni cocamide DEA. Apabila terjadi penumpukan konsentrasi cocamide DEA pada organ hati, maka akan mengaktifasi gugus radikal asam minyak dan bereaksi dengan sel hepatosit. Reaksi tersebut akan mengakibatkan jumlah oksisterol meningkat sehingga konsumsi oksigen dan NADPH akan menurun, yang kemudian akan meningkatkan radikal superoksida (⦁
