Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki latar belakang yaitu karyawan generasi milenial yang menurut penelitian dari Pew Research Center ditemukan salah satu karakteristik generasi milenial yaitu cenderung tidak loyal dan memiliki komitmen rendah namun bekerja secara efektif. Generasi milenial lahir pada tahun 1980-2000. Menurut Boston Consulting Group dalam penelitiannya bersama University of Berkley tahun 2011 menyebutkan generasi milenial akan menduduki porsi tenaga kerja di seluruh dunia sebanyak 75 persen pada tahun 2025. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan milenial Bimbel Plus Ilhami Malang Raya dengan alasan karyawan di Bimbel Plus Ilhami memiliki Rataan usia yang masuk pada usia milenial selain itu belum ada penelitian sejenis yang dilakukan di Bimbel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dukungan organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja, mengetahui pengaruh dukungan organisasi terhadap komitmen organisasional , mengetahui pengaruh dukungan organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasional, mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasional terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui pengaruh dukungan organisasi berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap komitmen organisasional melalui kepuasan kerja, mengetahui pengaruh dukungan organisasi berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian penelitian Explanatory Research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan generasi milenial dari Bimbel Plus Ilhami. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 38 karyawan dengan teknik pengambilan sampling yaitu Total Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square) dengan menggunakan alat bantu yaitu program aplikasi WarpPLS 5.0 . Hasil dari Penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa dukungan organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, dukungan organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, dukungan organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, komitmen organisasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dukungan organisasi berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional melalui kepuasan kerja, dan dukungan organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja.
English Abstract
This research has a background of millennial generation employees which according to research from the Pew Research Center found one of the characteristics of millennial generation that tends to be disloyal and has a low commitment but works effectively. Millennial generation was born in 1980-2000. According to the Boston Consulting Group in its research with the University of Berkley in 2011, the millennial generation will occupy a 75 percent share of the workforce worldwide in 2025. This research was conducted on Bimbel Plus Ilhami Malang Raya millennial employees on the grounds that employees at Bimbel Plus Ilhami have an average age entering at millennial age in addition there has been no similar research conducted at Bimbel. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of organizational support on job satisfaction, determine the effect of organizational support on organizational commitment, determine the effect of organizational support on employee performance, find out the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, find out the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, know the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance, knowing the effect of organizational support has an indirect effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction, knowing the effect of organizational support has an indirect effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. This type of research used in this research is Explanatory Research research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study are millennial generation employees from Bimbel Plus Ilhami. The sample in this study were 38 employees with a sampling technique that is Total Sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square) using tools that is WarpPLS 5.0 application program. The results of the research conducted showed that organizational support has a significant effect on job satisfaction, organizational support has a significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational support has a significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has no significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment significant effect on employee performance, organizational support has no significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction, and organizational support has a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.
