Abstract
Salah satu masalah kesehatan yang paling sering terjadi pada kuda pacu adalah robek tendon achilles. Apabila tendon achilles robek, maka kuda akan kesulitan atau bahkan tidak bisa menggerakkan kakinya. Getah nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus) merupakan salah satu bahan alternatif alami yang mengandung pektin yang berperan sebagai antiinflamasi dan antibakteri serta selulosa yang berperan sebagai perekat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan getah nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus) terhadap Nociceptive Withdrawal Time Dan Gambaran Histopatologi Tendon pada model robek tendon tikus (Rattus novergicus). Dalam penelitian ini digunakan hewan coba tikus (Rattus novergicus) strain wistar jantan yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok dan masing – masing kelompok berisi 5 ekor. Kelompok Kmerupakan kelompok tikus kontrol negatif, Kelompok K+ tikus robek tendon tanpa terapi, kelompok P1 tikus robek tendon dengan terapi Asam Mefenamat dosis 50 mg/kg BB selama 5 hari dan kelompok P2 kelompok tikus robek tendon dengan terapi Asam Mefenamat dosis 50 mg/kg BB dan aplikasi getah nangka pada robek tendon sebanyak 10 mg/ekor. Pada hari ke-14 setelah perlakuan dilakukan uji Nociceptive Withdrawal Time dengan menggunakan hot plate bersuhu 55 ºC yang merupakan data kuantitatif yang dianalisis dengan metode OneWay ANOVA dengan uji lanjutan Tukey α=0,05. Sedangkan untuk gambaran histopatologi tendon dianalisa secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian getah nangka sebagai lem biosealant secara signifikan (p<0,05) dapat menurunkan durasi Nociceptive Withdrawal Time. Kombinasi terapi asam mefenamat dan biosealant getah nangka memiliki hasil gambaran histopatologi terbaik yang ditandai dengan tidak adanya inflamasi dan telah terbentuknya serat kolagen satu arah yang tebal dan rapi. Oleh karena itu disimpulkan pemberian biosealant getah nangka mampu membantu proses penyembuhan robek tendon.
English Abstract
One of the most common health problems in racehorses is achilles tendon rupture. Tendon works together with muscles to move the body skeleton. If achilles tendon ruptured, it would be difficult or even impossible for horse to move their feet. Jackfruit sap (Artocarpus heterophyllus) is one of the natural alternative ingredients containing pectin that can act as an antiinflamatory and antibacterial substance and cellulose that can act as an adhesive compound. The purpose of this study was to discover the effect of using the sap of jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) in rats (Rattus novergicus) tendon rupture models to the Nociceptive Withdrawal Time and Tendon Histopathological Picture. Experimental animals used in this study were male wistar strains rats (Rattus novergicus) that divided into 4 groups and each group contained 5 rats. The Krats group was a group of negative control, K+ was a rats group with tendon rupture without therapy, P1 was a rats group with tendon rupture and Mefenamic Acid therapy dose 50 mg / kg BW for 5 days and P2 was a rats group with tendon rupture and Mefenamic Acid therapy dose 50 mg / kg BW for 5 days and application of jackfruit sap to tendon rupture at a dose of 10 mg / rat. On the 14th day post treatment, Nociceptive Withdrawal Time test were done using 55 ºC temperatured hot plate which is quantitative data that analyzed by the OneWay ANOVA method with a Tukey α = 0.05 advanced test. The histopathological picture of tendons was analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed that the jackfruit sap as biosealant glue could significantly (p<0.05) reduce the duration of Nociceptive Withdrawal Time. The combination therapy of mefenamic acid and biosealant sap has the best histopathological results which are characterized by the absence of inflammation, also thick and neat one-way collagen fibers have been formed. Therefore it was concluded that the administration of jackfruits sap biosealant glue can support the tendon rupture healing process
