Abstract
Keterampilan berdebat merupakan kecakapan siswa dalam bertukar pikiran tentang suatu hal dengan memberikan argumentasi untuk menyakinkan juri dan audiens tetapi siswa memiliki permasalahan tentang cara melaksanakan praktik debat yang tidak terstruktur, belum dapat menyampaikan argumen dengan baik, kurang mampu untuk berdiskusi melalui komunikasiantarteman, dan topik yang digunakan pada saat melakukan praktik debat tidak sesuai kompetensi dasar 4.13. Pada pembelajaran praktik debat melalui hasil prasiklus siswa belum diajarkan nilai pendidikan karakter. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya penentuan topik debatdapat terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa dalam membuat teks debat serta keterampilan berdebat siswa sesuai dengan topik.Upaya untuk peningkatan keterampilan berdebat siswa dengan menerapkan teknik investigasi sosiodrama berbasis nilai komunikatif. Teknik pembelajaran ini meliputi tahap merencanakan tugas-tugas belajar, melaksanakan investigasi, menyiapkan laporan akhir, mepresentasikan laporan akhir, dan memerankan tingkah laku. Teknik investigasi sosidrama dikaitkan dengan nilai pendidikan karakter komunikatif. Nilai komunikatif yaitu suatu tindakan antarsesama melalui komunikasi yang santun sehingga tercipta kerja sama yang baik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah melalui tahap studi pendahuluan. Pada penelitian ini merumuskan tiga aspek yaitu (1) aspek kualitas pertanyaan dan argumen, (2) aspek nilai komunikatif, (3) aspek keaktifan berdebat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai pra siklus adalah 66,9 kemudian pada siklus I adalah 77,9 dan pada siklus II adalah 84,1 dengan mencapai keberhasilan serta ketuntasan sebanyak 100%. Jadi, siswa kelas X RPL-2 SMKN 5 Malang dalam praktik debat telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan meningkatnya keterampilan berdebat dengan menerapkan nilai komunikatif.
English Abstract
Debating skills are skills students in brainstorming about something to give arguments to convince the jury and the audience, but the students have some concerns about how to implement the practice of debate unstructured, yet can deliver arguments with good, less able to discuss through communication between friends, and topics used at the time of the debate practice does not match the basic competencies 4.13. In the debate practice learning through student prasiklus results have not taught the value of character education. Therefore, with the determination of the debate topic can increase students' understanding in making text debates and debating skills of students in accordance with the topic.Efforts to improve the debating skills of students by implementing a value-based investigative techniques sociodramas communicative. These learning techniques include planning stage learning tasks, conducting investigations, prepare a final report, delegation to final report, and acting out behavior. Sosidrama investigative techniques associated with the communicative value of character education. Communicative value that is an act between through polite communication so as to create good cooperation.This research is a classroom action research that has gone through the preliminary study stage. In this study, formulated three aspects: (1) the aspect of quality of questions and arguments, (2) aspects of the communicative value, (3) the aspect of liveliness argue. The results showed pre-cycle value is 66.9 then the first cycle is 77.9 and the second cycle is 84.1 to achieve success and mastery as much as 100%. So, class X RPL-2 SMKN 5 Malang in practice debates have achieved mastery learning and increasing skills of debate by applying the communicative value.
