Adiningrum, Tanti Dwi (2019) Pengaruh Vermikompos terhadap Pertumbuhan Tebu (Saccharum officinarum) pada Berbagai Kadar Garam Tanah. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
Nilai K tersedia tanah tertinggi pada perlakuan vermikompos 600 g/pot yaitu 1,50 me/100g. Nilai kadar K daun tebu tertinggi perlakuan vermikompos 600 g/pot yaitu 1,77 %.
English Abstract
Since fertile land is used for food crop cultivation land expansion for sugar cane cultivation, is divertedto marginal land. because. Marginal land is one of the saline land. The high salt content in saline land influences nutrient uptake and sugar cane growth. To reduce the soil salinity, a vermicompost application was given with each different dose. Vermicompost is considered as an organic fertilizer that has many important nutrients for soil and plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of sugarcane growth and nutrient uptake of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) to the response of various doses of vermicompost to saline soils. This research was conducted in October 2018 to March 2019 at the Research Institute for Sweeteners and Fiber Plants (BALITTAS) Malang. Analysis of soil samples and analysis of sugarcane plant growth were carried out at the Soil Chemical Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University. The study used a randomized block design (RBD). Randomized Block Design was used, to probe the effect of vermicompost treatment and soil origin with different salinity from 3 locations. The first location was Tuban, it was in Cepokorejo Village, Palang District, Tuban Regency, the second location was Lamongan, it was in Sidomukti Village, Brondong District, Lamongan Regency. The third location was Bojonegoro, it was in Pasinan Village, Baureno District, Bojonegoro Regency. Vermicompost was given at a dose control, 300 g/pot and 600 g/pot. The parameters observed were soil, leaf content and plant growth. The results showed that the addition of vermicompost to soils with various salinity had a significant effect. Salt content with high EC (Tuban) and the addition of vermicompost had no significant effect on soil EC values, soil Na-dd, and Na levels of sugarcane leaves. The highest EC values of the control treatments at 1,2,3 and 4 BST were 11.23 dS/m; 10.23 dS/m; 9.06 dS/m and 7.60 dS/m respectively. Moreover, the highest Na-dd of the control treatment was 9.07 me/100g, the highest Na content of the control treatment was 0.33%. In the treatment of soil salinity with EC lower than soil salinity Tuban in (Lamongan), vermicompost affected the available K soil, leaf K content and the K/Na ratio. The highest K value of available soil in the 600 g / pot vermicompost treatment was 1.50 me/100g. The highest K content of sugarcane leaves was 600 g/ pot vermicompost treatment at 1.77%. The highest K/ Na ratio value in vermicompost treatment of 600 g/pot was is 1.50 me/100g, and it influenced the K content in leaves. While in the soil with low EC soil salinity (Bojonegoro),the addition of vermicompost had a positive effect on soil pH, soil EC, soil C-organic, total soil N, and leaf N content. The lowest soil pH value in the treatment of vermicompost of control was 5.48 with slightly acid criteria. The lowest soil EC value in the treatment of vermicompost 600 g/pot is 1,2,3 and 4 BST ; 0,68 dS/m; 0.55 dS/m; 0.20 dS/m; and 0.17 dS/m respectively. The highest C-organic value for iii vermicompost treatment of 600 g/pot, was 4.69%, and the highest total N value for vermicompost treatment of 600 g/pot, was 0.38%, while the highest N leaf content value for vermicompost treatment of 600 g/pot. was 2.62% and it significantly affected plant growth from all observations parameters.
