Abstract

Perkembangan dunia bisnis semakin cepat dan mengakibatkan persaingan antar perusahaan semakin ketat. Konsumen juga semakin cerdas dalam memilih produk yang akan dikonsumsi. Tingginya kesadaran konsumen akan kualitas produk tidak dibarengi dengan kemauan konsumen untuk mengeluarkan biaya yang lebih besar. Konsumen justru memiliki preferensi terhadap produk dengan harga murah, dengan kualitas yang mampu bersaing. Persaingan bisnis ini berdampak langsung pada kegiatan produksi perusahaan. Maka pada tahun 1982 oleh Oliver dan Weber, dicetuskanlah konsep Manajemen Rantai Pasok atau supply chain management, yang merupakan suatu integrasi pemasok, pabrik, gudang, hingga toko secara efisien. Information sharing dan long term relationship merupakan dua dari beberapa faktor yang dijadikan tolak ukur keberhasilan supply chain management. Salah satu IKM dengan produksi dan kebutuhan bahan baku tinggi di Kota Malang adalah industri keripik tempe. Berdasarkan penelitian Yusriansyah (2012), kebutuhan bahan baku keripik tempe dapat mencapai 5000 kg/bulan. Ketersediaan bahan baku lantas akan menjadi penentu berjalan tidaknya kegiatan produksi keripik tempe. Maka, penting melakukan penelitian ini untuk melihat sejauh mana kedua dimensi supply chain management tersebut mampu mempengaruhi kinerja supply chain management. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh-pengaruh information sharing dan long term relationship terhadap kinerja supply chain management, dan (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh information sharing dan long term relationship terhadap kinerja supply chain management. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel information sharing dan long term relationship berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja supply chain management. Analisis menggunakan WarpPLS menunjukkan variabel X1 memiliki p-value <0,001 dengan pengaruh terhadap kinerja SCM sebesar 31%. Sedangkan variabel X2 memiliki p-value 0,003 dengan pengaruh terhadap kinerja SCM sebesar 39%. Nilai adjusted R-squared menunjukkan angka 0,380. Hal tersebut berarti information sharing dan long term relationship secara simultan mempengaruhi kinerja supply chain management sebesar 38%, sedangkan 62% sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel di luar model. Keterbukaan informasi mengenai kebutuhan perusahaan serta konsumen adalah hal yang paling berpengaruh dari variabel information sharing terhadap kinerja supply chain manajement. Variabel ini mempengaruhi kinerja SCM melalui pembagian informasi yang pasti dan sesuai kepada supplier ataupun distributor, sehingga tercipta rantai pasok yang efektif. Sedangkan variabel long term relationship mempengaruhi kinerja SCM melalui pengurangan biaya dan waktu perusahaan. Dimana jika tidak menerapkan long term relationship, perusahaan tidak memiliki satu supplier atau distributor terpercaya dengan sistem dan kontrak kerja yang telah matang dan disetujui oleh masin-masing pihak. Adanya long term relationship membantu rantai pasok dalam mengurangi risiko kecurangan yang dilakukan oleh salah satu pihak.

English Abstract

The development of the business world only gets faster and resulting in an increasingly intense competition between companies. Consumers are also getting smarter in choosing products to consume. The higher trend of consumer awareness of product quality is not accompanied by their willingness to incur bigger costs. Consumers actually have a preference for products at low prices, but with quality that can compete. This competition has a direct impact on the company's production activities. So, in 1982 by Oliver and Weber (Lambert et al., 1998), the concept of Supply Chain Management was initiated, which was an efficient integration of suppliers, factories, warehouses, and stores. Information sharing and long-term relationships are two of several factors that are used as benchmarks for the success of supply chain management. One of the IKMs with high production and raw material needs in Malang City is the tempe chips industry. Based on research by Yusriansyah (2012), the raw material needs of tempe chips can reach 5000 kg/month. The availability of raw materials will then determine whether or not the production of tempe chips is running. So, it is important to do this research to see how far the two dimensions of supply chain management are able to influence the performance of supply chain management. The objectives to be achieved in this study are: (1) To test and analyze the effects of information sharing and long-term relationships on supply chain management performance, and (2) To describe the effect of information sharing and long-term relationships on supply chain management performance. The results of the study show that information sharing and long-term relationship variables have a significant effect on supply chain management performance variables. Analysis using WarpPLS shows that X1 has a p-value <0.001 with an effect on SCM performance of 31%. While the X2 variable has a pvalue of 0.003 with an influence on SCM performance of 39%. The adjusted Rsquared value shows the number 0.380. This means that information sharing and long-term relationships simultaneously affect the supply chain management performance by 38%, while the remaining 62% is explained by variables outside the model. Information disclosure regarding the needs of companies and consumers is the most influential thing from the information sharing variable on the performance of supply chain management. This variable affects the performance of the SCM through definitive and appropriate information sharing to suppliers or distributors, so that effective supply chains are created. While the long-term relationship variables affect the performance of SCM through a reduction in company costs and time. Where if it does not implement a long-term relationship, the company does not have one reliable supplier or distributor with a system and a working contract that has been mature and approved by the parties. The existence of a long-term relationship helps the supply chain in reducing the risk of fraud committed by one of the parties.
