Abstract
PT. Temprina Media Grafika Malang merupakan perusahaan media cetak koran untuk daerah Malang Raya. Hasil produksi berpengaruh terhadap tingkat produktivitas dari perusahaan.Namun, saat ini pada produksi koran masih banyak terjadi cacat dan downtime mesin yang terlalu lama dalam proses produksi sehingga mempengaruhi produktivitas. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan analisis produktivitas untuk mengetahui nilai indeks produktivitas dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas, maka dilakukan usulan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Objective Matrix Method (OMAX) merupakan sistem pengukuran produktivitas parsial yang dikembangkan untuk memantau produktivitas ditiap bagian perusahaan dengan kriteria produktivitas yang sesuai. Tahap-tahap pengerjaan penelitian dimuali dengan tahap pendahuluan dimana dilakukan studi lapangan maupun tinjauan pustaka. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap pengumpulan data dimana data yang digunakan berupa data primer kuesioner pembobotan dan data sekunder. Tahap selanjutnya melakukan pengolahan data untuk menghitung rasio tiap kriteria, menghitung pembobotan dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), menghitung nilai performansi, indeks produktivitas, dan pembuatan tabel OMAX serta melakukan analisis faktor-faktor pengaruh produktivitas dengan diagram sebab akibat. Tahap berikutnya analisis dan pembahasan yakni analisis pengukuran produktivitas dan rekomendasi perbaikan. Tahap terakhir yakni tahap penutup penarikan kesimpulan dan pemberian saran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 4 indikator utama yakni penggunaan jam kerja, penggunaan jam kerja mesin, minimasi cacat, dan penggunaan bahan baku. Setelah menentukan indikator melakukan perhitungan rasio kemudian perhitungan Analytical Hierarchy Process, dan dilanjutkan perhitungan OMAX. Hasil dari perhitungan indeks produktivitas nilai indeks koran Radar Malang tidak stabil atau fluktuatif. Hal ini disebabkan oleh downtime mesin, jumlah cacat, penggunaan bahan baku, serta jam tenaga kerja yang berbeda disetiap bulan. Produktivitas tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Februari 2016 yaitu 304% dengan indeks sebesar 8,08 sedangkan produktivitas terendah terjadi pada bulan Juni 2016 sebesar -45 dengan indeks sebesar 3,34. Selanjutnya berdasarkan analisis diagram sebab akibat terdapat beberapa faktor yaitu tenaga kerja yang kurang ahli serta downtime mesin yang meningkat karena mesin rusak atau terdapat kotoran. Setelah mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi dilakukan rekomendasi perbaikan yakni dengan melakukan pelatihan kepada pekerja dan memberi reward, melakukan perbaikan mesin dengan rutin, pengecekan bahan baku dan mesin yang digunakan, serta melakukan penyimpanan bahan baku ditempat yang tepat
English Abstract
PT. Temprina Graphic Media Malang is a newspaper print media company for Malang region. Production results affect the productivity level of the company. However, at present in the production of newspapers there are still many defects and engine downtime that happen for too long in the production process which affects productivity. Therefore, it is necessary to do a productivity analysis to determine the productivity index value and the factors that affect productivity, then improvements are proposed to increase productivity. Objective Matrix Method (OMAX) is a partial productivity measurement system developed to monitor the productivity in each part of the company with appropriate productivity criteria. The research stages begin with the preliminary stage where field studies and literature reviews performed. Then proceed with the data collection stage where the data used is in the form of primary data weighting questionnaire and secondary data. The next stage is processing data to calculate the ratio of each criterion, calculating the value of performance, productivity index, and making OMAX tables and analyzing the influence of productivity factors with causal diagrams. The next stage of analysis and discussion is the analysis of productivity measurements and recommendations for improvement. The last stage is the closing stage of drawing conclusions and giving advice. The results of the research at the indicator identification stage are the existence of 4 main indicators, which is the use of working hours, the use of the machine’s working hours, minimization of defects, and the use of raw materials. After determining the indicator, calculating the ratio then calculating the Analytical Hierarchy Process, and proceed with the calculation of OMAX. The results of the calculation of the productivity index is that the index value of the Radar Malang newspaper is unstable or volatile. This happen due to engine downtime, number of defects, use of raw materials, and different labor hours on each month. The highest productivity occurred in February 2016 which was equal to 304% with an index of 8.08 while the lowest productivity occurred in June 2016 at -45 with an index of 3.34. Furthermore, based on causal diagram analysis there are several factors, namely less skilled labor and increased engine downtime because the engine is damaged or there is dirt on the machine. After knowing the influencing factors, recommendations for improvement were made, that is by training workers and giving rewards, repairing machines routinely, checking raw materials and machines used, and storing raw materials in the right place.
