Abstract

CV. Dwi Artha Indah merupakan salah satu perusahaan di kota Samarinda yang bergerak pada bidang penyedia jasa penyewaan peralatan pesta. Namun pada proses operasional yang masih dijalankan secara manual dan belum dibantu oleh sistem informasi, timbul beberapa permasalahan diantaranya ialah proses pengecekan ketersediaan peralatan yang akan disewa sering memakan waktu melebihi batas prosedur yang telah ditentukan oleh pimpinan perusahaan. Lalu proses pencatatan transaksi penyewaan masih berupa nota fisik dan sangat rentan sekali untuk hilang ataupun terselip. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dilakukan pengembangan sistem informasi reservasi guna membantu mengoptimalkan proses bisnis perusahaan yang sedang berjalan. Proses pengembangan sistem informasi dilakukan menggunakan metode pengembangan Rational Unified Process (RUP). Metode tersebut dipilih karena merupakan metode yang bersifat dinamis dan iterative sehingga dapat menanggapi perubahan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna yang tidak terdefinisi dengan baik. Pada fase inception, terdapat 3 proses bisnis yang dianalisis serta dilakukan rekomendasi perbaikan meliputi proses bisnis transaksi penyewaan, penjadwalan pengiriman/penjemputan peralatan, dan pelaporan perbaikan peralatan. Lalu pada fase elaboration, didapatkan hasil analisis kebutuhan pengguna yang terdiri dari 22 kebutuhan fungsional serta 1 kebutuhan nonfungsional melalui 2 kali iterasi yang akan dimodelkan pada tahap perancangan. Selanjutnya, fase construction dilakukan pengujian black-box terhadap 39 test case dengan kesimpulan sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik. Lalu pada pengujian compatibility sistem informasi dapat dijalankan pada 4 browser berbeda tanpa adanya kesalahan yang fatal. Dan pada fase terakhir yaitu transition, dilakukan pengujian User Acceptance Test (UAT) kepada masing-masing aktor. Hasil pengujian UAT menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerimaan pada aktor admin sebesar 88.88%, lalu aktor koordinator gudang sebesar 88%, dan aktor pimpinan sebesar 90%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga aktor tersebut sangat setuju dengan adanya fungsional dari sistem informasi reservasi. Melalui pengembangan tersebut, dihasilkan sistem informasi yang dapat memfasilitasi pengelolaan transaksi penyewaan, penjadwalan pengiriman/penjemputan peralatan, dan pelaporan perbaikan peralatan.

English Abstract

CV. Dwi Artha Indah is one of companies in Samarinda which providing event equipper service. However, the operational process in the company is still handled manually and have not supported by information system, it creates problem such as duration within checking the equipment stocks to be rented, which often exceeds the procedure that was already set by the CEO. Afterwards, the process of recording rental transaction is still using a physical note and its highly possible to be lost or tucked away. According to the problem that is occurred, therefore a reservation information system is developed to help the optimization of the company’s business process that are running. The information system development process is performed by using Rational Unified Process (RUP) development method. The method was chosen due to its dynamic and iterative, thus it can respond to the changes based to user requirements that are not well defined. In the Inception phase, there are 3 business processes that will be analyzed and providing recommendations for improvement including, leasing transactions, scheduling equipment delivery/pick-up, and reporting equipment repairs. Moreover, the elaboration phase, the results of the analysis of user requirements were found that the user needs include, 22 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement through 2 iterations processes to be modelled at the design stage. Afterwards, the construction phase is carried out that black-box testing was done through 39 test cases with the conclusion that the system can run well. Furthermore, the result of compatibility testing that was done by the system shows that the system can be run on 4 different browsers without fatal errors. The last phase is transition, the examination for the user acceptance test (UAT) was done in each actor. The results of UAT testing depict that the acceptance level on the admin actor reached to 88.88%, warehouse coordinator 88%, and the lead actor is 90%. Hence, to conclude that the three actors is strongly agree with the functional of the reservation information system. Through these development, its produced an information system that can support the management of leasing transactions, scheduling equipment delivery / pick-up, and reporting equipment repairs
