Abstract

Minyak goreng merupakan salah satu bahan yang diperlukan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga. Saat ini berbagai macam merek minyak goreng mudah didapatkan di lingkungan sekitar baik itu minyak curah maupun minyak goreng bermerek. Hal ini mengakibatkan daya saing antar produsen minyak goreng semakin besar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memprediksi peluang perpindahan merek minyak goreng Bimoli, Fraiswell, Sunco, Minyak Curah dan Lain-Lain berdasarkan selera dari ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Sukun, Malang. Dalam memprediksi perpindahan merek digunakan metode Hidden Markov Model. Hidden Markov Model adalah perluasan dari rantai Markov dimana statenya tidak dapat diamati secara langsung (tersembunyi). English Abstract

Cooking oil is ingredient needed by housewife. Now we can find various brands of cooking oil are easily available in our environment whether bulk oil or branded cooking oil. Because we can find all of them easily it makes a greater competitiveness between cooking oil producers. A purpose of this study is to predict shifting chances between cooking oil brands like Bimoli, Fraiswell, Sunco, Bulk Oil and Others based on interest by housewives in Kelurahan Sukun, Malang. To predict shifting chances between cooking oil brands using Hidden Markov Model method.
