Abstract
Kesehatan jiwa masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang cukup signifikan di dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Kurangnya pemahaman dan kepedulian masyarakat, keterbatasan serta tidak meratanya distribusi tenaga layanan kesehatan jiwa turut menjadikan kendala dalam upaya peningkatan pemahaman dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kesehatan jiwa. Masalah ini akan berdampak pada sulitnya pasien dalam mengakses perawatan dan pengobatan. Munculnya fenomena Duration of Untreated Psychosis (DUP) atau psikosis tanpa terapi dalam masyarakat turut memperburuk perjalanan penyakit dari pasien skizofrenia. Salah satu manifestasi klinis utama yang terlihat pada pasien skizofrenia adalah penurunan fungsi kognitif. SCoRS hadir sebagai sebuah instrumen yang mudah dan efektif dalam mengukur fungsi kognitif secara kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian digunakan instrumen modifikasi SCoRS yang lebih disesuaikan dengan kultur di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara durasi psikosis tanpa terapi dengan fungsi kognitif menggunakan modifikasi SCoRS, khususnya pada pasien skizofrenia di RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Metode penelitian menggunakan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Seleksi subjek penelitian berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Lalu dilakukan anamnesis dan pemeriksaan psikiatri yang sesuai. Analisis korelasi menggunakan spearman untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel durasi psikosis tanpa terapi dan fungsi kognitif yang dinilai menggunakan modifikasi SCoRS (p< 0,05). Hasilnya membuktikan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel durasi psikosis tanpa terapi dan variabel fungsi kognitif yang dinilai menggunakan modifikasi SCoRS dengan tingkat korelasi yang lemah (koefisien korelasi 0,340)
English Abstract
Mental health is still a significant health problem in the world, including Indonesia. Lack of understanding and concern for the community, limitations and unequal distribution of mental health service personnel also contribute to obstacles in an effort to increase public understanding and concern for mental health. This problem will have an impact on the difficulty of patients in accessing care and treatment. The emergence of the phenomenon of Duration of Untreated Psychosis (DUP) or untreated psychosis in society contributes to the worsening of the disease course of schizophrenic patients. One of the main clinical manifestations seen in schizophrenic patients is a decline in cognitive function. SCoRS is present as an easy and effective instrument in quantitatively measuring cognitive function. In the study used a modified SCoRS instrument that was more adapted to culture in Indonesia. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the duration of untreated psychosis and cognitive function using modified SCoRS, especially in schizophrenic patients at Dr. Hospital. Saiful Anwar Malang. The research method used observational analytic with cross sectional approach. Selection of research subjects based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Then do the appropriate history and psychiatric examination. Correlation analysis using Spearman to determine the relationship of variable duration of psychosis without therapy and cognitive function assessed using SCoRS modification (p <0.05).
