Putri, Dana Paramitha (2018) Analisis Korelasi Ekspresi Lipoprotein-Associated Phospholipase A2 (Lp-Pla2) Dengan Kadar Adiponectin Pada Populasi Risiko Aterosklerosis Berdasarkan Kategori Framingham. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

Objective: To determine the correlation of lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) concentration and adiponectin level in the atherosclerosis risk population based on the Framingham Category. Method: The study used correlational analysis method. Venous blood sample was taken from 150 individuals in the risk population with total sampling technique. Atherosclerosis risk group was analyzed using Framingham Risk Score and categorized in 3 groups; low risk, intermediate risk, and high risk. Blood sample was measured by ELISA method with Lp-PLA2 and adiponectin as parameters. Analysis of Lp PLA2 and adiponectin data in every group was done using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk normality test, one-way ANOVA, Post Hoc Least Significance Difference test, and Pearson test for correlation analysis between the two groups. Results: Lp-PLA2 concentrations have significant inverse correlation with adiponectin level (sig <0.05) with negative correlation coefficient on value of 0.407, 0.420, and 0.407 for low risk, intermediate risk, and high risk group. Conclusion: There was a negative correlation between Lp-PLA2 concentrations and adiponectin levels in the atherosclerosis risk population based on each of the Framingham categories (low risk, intermediate risk, and high risk).
