English Abstract

The study is conducted at the Integrated Glenmore Sugar Factory of PT Industri Gula Glenmore. This quantitative study aimed at identifying the (extent of) relationship between leadership style applied and employee motivation using correlation analysis. The data are examined by rank spearman correlation coefficient test towar around 100 respondent, who are divide into 2 parties: 80 employees and 20 leaders. The result of questionnaire and statistical test reveal that the two variables’ correlation coefficient is 0,304, indicating that there is no, or very weak, relationship between the leadership style applied and employee motivation
