Abstract
Desa Tempellemahbang merupakan salah satu desa yang menghasilkan kerajinan akar jati di Kota Blora. Pada awalnya masyarakat banyak yang memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai pengrajin kayu mebel tetapi kerajian ini semakin menurun karena terdapat persaingan yang kuat dengan pengrajin yang berasal dari kota Jepara. Tahun 2008 masyarakat desa Tempellemahbang mulai melihat akar jati sebagai salah satu material yang memiliki nilai seni tinggi jika diolah dengan baik. Dengan meningkatnya permintaan terhadap kerajinan akar jati banyak masyarakat desa Tempellemahbang yang tertarik untuk menjadi pengrajin akar jati, sehingga banyak ditemukan hunian pengrajin yang menjadi satu dengan tempat produksi. Pada hunian pengrajin akar jati terdapat perubahan tata ruang hunian baik secara makro, meso dan mikro yang dihubungkan dengan tipologi ruang hunian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tata ruang rumah pengrajin akar jati sesuai dengan aktivitas pengrajin serta faktor yang terkait untuk dijadikan dasar konsep penataan hunian pengrajin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data lapangan dilakukan dengan metode pengamatan (observasi) dan pemetaaan terhadap objek amatan. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dengan analisis tata ruang hunian berdasarkan aktivitas masyarakat terkait elemen nature, network, society, man dan shells dibagi menjadi tiga yaitu makro, meso dan mikro. Secara makro pola permukiman yang terbentuk berdasarkan dari struktur alam yang biasa disebut pola organis. Makro tata ruang hunian yang terdapat pada penelitian ini yaitu ditemukannya pola jalan yang tidak teratur, serta adanya jalan buntu pada permukiman. Pada mikro hunian dibagi menjadi dua tipologi yaitu tipologi ruang campuran (ruang produksi berada dalam satu bangunan dengan tempat tinggal) dan tipologi ruang terpisah (ruang produksi berada pada bangunan yang berbeda dengan tempat tinggal).
English Abstract
Tempellemahbang village is one of the villages which produce teak root craft in Blora town. In the beginning, many people worked as furniture craftsmen, but the number of this craft is declining Because of the stiff competition with the craftsmen from jepara city. In 2008 Tempellemahbang community realized that the teak root as one of material that has high artistic value if processed properly, with the increasing demand of teak root craft, many people were interested to become teak root craftsmen. We can find occupancy of craftsmen which became a unity with the production site. In the residential of teak root craftsman there is a change of occupancy dwelling either macro, meso and micro that is associated with the typology of residential space. The purpose of this study is to determine the layout of the home teak root craftsmen in accordance with the activities of craftsmen and related factors to be the basis of the concept of settlement arrangement of craftsmen. The research method used is descriptive- qualitative with field data collection is done by observation method and observation of observated object. The results obtained by the analysis of spatial layout based on community activities related elements of nature, network, society, man and shells are divided into macro, meso and micro of residential spatial . The macro pattern of settlements formed based on the natural structure commonly called the organic pattern. Macro spatial residential contained in this research is the discovery of irregular path patterns on the settlement. In the micro occupancy is divided into two typologies there is typology of mixed space (production room is in the one building with residence) and the typology of separate spaces (production room is in the different buildings with residence).
