Abstract
PT Mahkota Mitra Sentosa adalah sebuah perusahaan jasa yang bergerak dalam bidang transportasi darat khususnya bus pariwisata. Pada proses penggajian untuk sopir, kernet dan pembuatan laporan akhir perhitungannya masih menggunakan cara konvensional. Hal ini menimbulkan masalah kurang efisien dalam hal waktu pada proses tersebut. Pada proses perhitungan terkadang harus dilakukan perhitungan ulang untuk memastikan bahwa perhitungan sebelumnya telah benar. Permasalahan yang ada tersebut diperlukan solusi yaitu dengan membangun sistem informasi. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana membangun sistem informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh PT Mahkota Mitra Sentosa untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada dengan menggunakan metode pembangunan sistem yaitu Rational Unified Process(RUP). Metode tersebut merupakan metodologi pengembangan sistem basis objek dengan tahapan meliputi: inception, elaboration, construction, dan transition. Metode ini digunakan karena dapat melakukan proses secara iterasi untuk mengakomodasi perubahan kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang berbasis website. Sistem informasi yang telah dibangun diuji menggunakan pengujian black-box menghasilkan nilai valid pada semua test case. Pengujian compatibility digunakan untuk menguji kebutuhan non fungsional dengan hasil terdapat beberapa minor issue. User Acceptance Testing menghasilkan nilai akhir 87,2%. Pada akhirnya, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa sistem informasi telah dibangun dengan baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan.
English Abstract
PT Mahkota Mitra Sentosa is a service company that runs in land transportation especially tour bus. On the payroll process for driver, assistant, and the final report of the calculation is still using conventional method. This causes an issue of time inefficiency in the process. In the calculation process, sometime it is needed to recalculate to make sure that the previous calculation is correct. The problems exist need a solution which is developing an information sistem. This study explains how to develop an information sistem needed by PT Mahkota Mitra Sentosa to resolve the existing problems by using sistem development method which is Rational Unified System. The method is an object-based development sistem by several steps which are: inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. This method is used because it can do the process iteratively to accommodate the change of need. The result of this study is a web-based information sistem. The developed information sistem is tested by using black-box testing generated valid values in all test cases. Compatibility testing is used to test non-functional requirements with the results of several minor issues. User Acceptance Testing generated a final value of 87.2%. In the end, it can be deduced that the information sistem has been built properly and in accordance with the needs. Finally, it is concluded that the information sistem has been well-developed and corresponded the need.
