Abstract
Pertumbuhan lansia di Indonesia yang semakin hari semakin meningkat dikarenakan Usia Harapan Hidup (UHH) di Indonesia yang juga meningkat, menyebabkan jumlah Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha (PSTW) yang ada menjadi tidak sebanding dengan jumlah lansia yang ada di Indonesia, khususnya di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) yang telah memasuki era penduduk berstruktur tua dengan jumlah lansia 7,23 % dari jumlah penduduk di Provinsi NTB, namun hanya terdapat 2 PSTW di Provinsi NTB yaitu PSTW Puspakarma di Kota Mataram untuk mewakili Pulau Lombok dan PSTW Meci Awi di Kota Bima untuk mewakili Pulau Sumbawa, dimana kedua PSTW tersebut hanya bisa menampung ±100 orang. Keadaan PSTW tersebut merupakan milik pemerintah, namun kondisinya bisa dikatakan ‘kurang’, hal ini dikarenakan belum adanya standar pemerintah yang bisa mengatur tentang PSTW secara spesifik. Padahal penurunan fungsi gerak yang dialami lansia membuat lansia memerlukan bantuan oranglain dan juga memerlukan setting ruang yang nyaman untuk memudahkan lansia beraktivitas. Penurunan fungsi gerak yang dialami lansia membuat lansia perlu untuk mempertahankan kualitas hidupnya, dimana dicapai dengan kemudahan lansia dalam beraktivitas di dalam ruang. Kemudahan dalam aktivitas dipengaruhi oleh elemen ruang dalam yaitu sirkulasi yang memadai dan mudah dipahami serta tata letak perabot yang mendukung lansia dalam beraktivitas. Kedua elemen tersebut secara tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi perilaku lansia di dalam ruang, pada elemen sirkulasi hal ini bisa dilihat pada perilaku lansia saat melakukan pencapaian dari satu ruang ke ruang lainnya, konfigurasi jalur yang terbentuk dari perilaku lansia saat melakukan lansia dan perilaku lansia saat melewati bentu sirkulasi tertentu, serta pada elemen tata letak perabot hal ini bisa dilihat pada perilaku lansia terhadap posisi perletakan perabot, perilaku lansia terhadap jenis perabot dan perilaku lansia terhadap dimensi perabot yang ada pada ruang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola perilaku lansia pada ruang dalam di PSTW Puspakarma Mataram khususnya pada aspek sirkulasi dan tata letak perabot. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data observasi (behavioural mapping) dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola perilaku lansia di dalam ruang secara tidak langsung dipengaruhi oleh setting fisik ruang yang ada. Hal ini terlihat dari tata letak perabot di dalam ruang yang ada membentuk jalur sirkulasi dimana jalur sirkulasi tersebut bisa menjadi hambatan atau menjadi bantuan bagi lansia, karena tata letak perabot yang ada bisa digunakan lansia sebagai handrail dan juga tata letak perabot bisa menjadi pembatas ruang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan teritori lansia di dalam ruang sehingga mencapai kenyamanan.
English Abstract
The growth of the elderly in Indonesia are constantly increasing due to age of life expectancy in Indonesia has also increased, causing the number of Social Institutions Tresna Werdha (PSTW) has become nothing compared to the number of elderly in Indonesia particularly in the province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) which has entered the era of the old structured population with the number of elderly 7.23% of the total population on the province, but there are only 2 (PSTW) in NTB is PSTW Puspakarma in Mataram on Lombok Island and PSTW MECI Awi in Bima to representing the island of Sumbawa, where both PSTW can only accommodate ±100 people. PSTW state is a state-owned, but the condition are less supportive, this is because there are no government standards that can regulate specific PSTW. the decrease of the motoric function of the elderly makes them need some help from the others and also require a comfortable room setting to facilitate the activities of the elderly. the decrease of the motoric function of the elderly to make the them need to maintain their quality of life, where can be achieved by ease elderly activities in the room. The Ease in an activity influenced by interior space element there are circulation sufficient and easy to understand and the furniture layout to support for elderly in activities . All of these elements can indirectly affect the behavior of elderly people the room, the elements of the circulation it can be seen by the behavior of the elderly when walking toward the one room to another, The configuration formed of behavior elderly while doing and passes the form of certain circulation, And on element the layout furniture this can be seen on conduct elderly to the position of the laying furniture , behavior elderly against the type furniture and behavior elderly to dimensions furniture that is on space The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of behavior of the elderly in the space in PSTW Puspakarma Mataram in particular on the circulation and furniture layout. The method used is descriptive qualitative data collection methods of observation (behavioral mapping) and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of behavior of elderly people in the room have been indirectly affected by the physical setting of the existing space. This can be seen from the layout furniture in in space to be forming a path circulation where the circulation the regulation can be obstacle or to for assistance for elderly, because the layout furniture that is can be used elderly as handrail and also the layout furniture could be parapet space to reach the needs of territory for the elderly in a room so that could achieve a convenience in the room.
