Abstract

Entisol memiliki permasalahan dari segi kimia dan fisik karena kandungan bahan organik yang rendah. Selain itu, Entisol memiliki stabilitas agregat tanah yang rendah sehingga mudah tererosi oleh air. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki sifat Entisol adalah dengan penambahan bahan organik berupa pupuk kandang ayam, biochar sekam padi dan bakteri Pseudomonas fluorescens. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami adanya pengaruh dari aplikasi biochar sekam padi, pupuk kandang ayam, dan bakteri P. fluorescensmelalui inkubasi terhadap sifat kimia (pH, N-Total, C-organik) dan biologi (total populasi bakteri) serta mengetahui hasil perlakuan terbaiksecara tunggal maupun kombinasi terhadap perbaikan kemantapan agregat Entisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Fisika, Kimia dan Biologi Tanah, Jurusan Tanah, Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli hingga September 2014. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 8 perlakuan, 3 ulangan dan 4 contoh sample tanah. Perlakuan terdiri atas P0 = kontrol; P1 = bakteri Pseudomonas fluorecens 108 Cfu/ml;P2 = Biochar sekam padi 10 t/ha; P3 = pupuk kandang ayam 10 t/ha; P4 = biochar sekam padi 10 t/ha + pupuk kandang ayam 10 t/ha; P5 = bakteri Pseudomonas fluorecens 108 Cfu/ml + biochar sekam padi 10 t/ha; P6 = bakteri Pseudomonas fluorecens 108 Cfu/ml + pupuk kandang ayam 10 t/ha; P7 = biochar sekam padi 10 t/ha + pupuk kandang ayam 10 t/ha + bakteri P. fluorencens 108 Cfu/ml. Pemberian biochar sekam padi, pupuk kandangayam dan bakteri P. fluorencens dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan sifat kimia dan biologi, secara menyeluruh perlakuan terbaik terjadi pada perlakuan P7 yaitu kombinasi biochar sekam padi 10 t/ha + pupuk kandang ayam 10 t/ha + bakteri P. fluorencens 108 Cfu/ml. Pada P7 terjadi peningkatan sifat kimia berupa pH sebesar 28,2%, C-organik 89% dan N-total 53%, serta mampu meningkatkan total populasi bakteri sebesar 251x108 Cfu/ml, dibandingkan dengan kontrol pada Entisol. Perlakuan pemberian kombinasi dari ketiga bahan yaitu biochar sekam padi 10 t/ha + pupuk kandang ayam 10 t/ha + bakteri P. fluorencens 108 Cfu/ml(P7) memiliki nilai terbaik terhadap kemantapan agregat tanah sebesar 36 tetesan atau meningkat 157% jika dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol.

English Abstract

Entisol having problems in terms of chemical and physical properties because low of organic material. Besides, Entisols has low aggregate stability, so the soil is easily eroded by water. One of the efforts can be made to improve the properties of entisols is amending rice husk biochar chicken manure, and Pseudomonas fluorescens bacterium. This research aims to understand the effect of amending rice husk biochar, chicken manure, and P. fluorescens bacterium through incubation against the chemical properties (pH, total-N, C-organic) and biology properties (total population of bacteria) as well as knowing the best treatment on improving aggregate stability with single amandment or combination. This research conducted in Laboratory of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Soil Department, Brawijaya University and was held in July until September 2014. The research using completely randomized design with 8 treatments, 3 replications and 4 soil sample ground. The treatment consisted of P0 = control; P1 = Pseudomonas fluorecens 108 Cfu/ml; P2 = Rice husk biochar 10 t/ha; P3 = Chicken manure 10 t/ha; P4 = Rice husk biochar 10 t/ha + Chicken manure 10 t/ha; P5 = Pseudomonas fluorecens 108 Cfu/ml + Rice Husk Biochar 10 t/ha; P6 = Pseudomonas fluorecens 108 Cfu/ml + Chicken manure 10 t/ha; P7 = Rice husk biochar 10 t/ha + Chicken manure 10 t/ha + Pseudomonas fluorecens 108 Cfu/ml. The amending of rice husk biochar, chicken manure, and P. fluorescens bacteriumimproved thesoil chemical and biology properties, whereas the best treatment is combination of rice husk biochar + chicken manure + P. fluorescens (P7). P7 improved the value of chemical properties such as pH as much as 28,2%, C-organik 89%, and Total Nitrogen 53%, and increased the total number of bacteria up to 251x108 Cfu/ml, compared to control. The combination of three material (rice husk biochar 10t /ha + chicken manure 10 t/ha + P. Fluorencens 108 Cfu/ml) gave the best result on improving aggregate stability equal to 36 droplets or increased 157% compared to control.
