Abstract
CV. Kajeye Food merupakan salah satu industri mikro yang bergerak di bidang pangan yaitu produsen makanan ringan berupa keripik aneka buah serta manisan buah. Adapun produk keripik buah yang diproduksi oleh CV. Kajeye Food antara lain apel, nangka, mangga, nanas, salak, dan lain lain. Produk keripik dan manisan CV. Kajeye Food dipasarkan di area Malang dan kota-kota lain di Indonesia. Bahkan produk keripik dari industri ini diekspor hingga mancanegara. Akan tetapi, banyaknya permintaan konsumen seringkali tidak dapat diprediksi oleh produsen. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan besarnya jumlah persediaan masing-masing produk dibandingkan dengan jumlah produksi dan penjualan menyebabkan pemborosan biaya penyimpanan serta pendataan produk membutuhkan waktu cukup lama menyebabkan efisiensi pencarian produk dan proses pengelolaan persediaan kurang optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menentukan nilai persediaan minimum berdasarkan nilai safety stock, lead time, dan rata-rata permintaan. Metode ini berguna untuk mengelola persediaan dan pertimbangan kuantitas produksi sehingga memperoleh produksi yang optimal. Dalam penelitian ini juga dilakukan perancangan sistem informasi dengan metode prototyping menggunakan microsoft access. Kemudian langkah selanjutnya yaitu dengan membuat model konseptual menyesuaikan kebutuhan pengguna sistem. Hal ini berguna untuk merancang sistem informasi yang mengintegrasikan antar bagian perusahaan dalam menunjang aktivitas produksi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan data permintaan historis diperoleh nilai safety stock dan nilai minimum persediaan untuk masing-masing produk keripik buah. Kemudian hasil ini digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam menunjang aktivitas produksi dan pengelolaan persediaan. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan sistem informasi pengendalian persediaan didapatkan kemudahan dalam mengkases informasi untuk masing-masing bagian perusahaan. Kemudahan yang ada pada sistem informasi ini antara lain integrasi pada 3 bagian perusahaan yaitu bagian produksi, bagian penjualan dan pemilik perusahaan. Jenis integrasi pada ketiga elemen tersebut antara lain akses laporan penjualan, laporan produksi, laporan estimasi permintaan, serta laporan ketersediaan keripik buah. Pembuatan sistem informasi pengendalian persediaan, dilakukan dengan pembuatan database, form, dan report yang diimplementasikan menggunakan Microsoft Access berbentuk prototype.
English Abstract
CV. Kajeye Food is micro industries engaged in food producers of snacks contains of various fruit chips and fruit candied. The fruit chips products produced by CV. Kajeye Food such as apple, jackfruit, mango, pineapple, salak, and others. Product chips and candied CV. Kajeye Food are marketed in Malang area and other cities in Indonesia. Chips products from this industry are also exported to foreign countries. However, the number of consumer demand is unpredictable by the manufacturer. This research is motivated by the large amount inventory of each product compared with the production and sales quantity cause waste of storage costs and product data collection takes a long time causing the efficiency of product search. It makes inventory management process is not optimal. The method used in this research is to determine minimum inventory value based on safety stock value, lead time, and average demand. This method is useful for managing inventory and production quantity considerations to obtain optimal production. In this research also conducted design of information system with prototyping method using microsoft access. Then the next step is to create a conceptual model to adjust the users needs of the system. This is useful for designing information systems that integrate between parts of the company to support of production activities. The result of research based on historical demand data, obtained by value of safety stock and minimum value of inventory for each fruit chips product. Then this result is used to consideration for supporting production activity and inventory management. Based on the results of inventory control information system design, it is easy to access information for each company section. Ease of this information systems include integration of the three parts of the company that is the production, sales and owners of the company. Types of integration of the three elements include access to sales reports, production reports, demand estimation reports, and reports on the availability of fruit chips. Information system design of inventory control designed by making database, form, and report that implemented using Microsoft Access in the prototype form.
