Abstract
Allopurinol 100 mg merupakan obat keras yang dapat diperoleh tanpa menggunakan resep dokter dan diserahkan oleh apoteker. Karena penggunaannya yang secara terus menerus, diperlukan pemahaman dan pengetahuan pasien dalam penggunaan allopurinol 100 mg. Usia dan pengetahuan merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku swamedikasi yang rasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara usia dan tingkat pengetahuan pasien gout dalam swamedikasi allopurinol di Apotek Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel apotek menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan pengambilan sampel responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November hingga akhir Januari 2016 dengan 100 responden yang diambil dari 18 apotek. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan usia dan pengetahuan pasien gout dalam swamedikasi allopurinol adalah metode korelasi somers’d. Hasil penelitian yang didapat 27% memiliki pengetahuan baik, 48% memiliki pengetahuan cukup, 25% memiliki pengetahuan kurang. Hasil korelasi usia dan pengetahuan dengan somers’d menunjukan p=0.000 (p<0.05) dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.336 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi lemah tapi pasti antara usia dan tingkat pengetahuan pasien gout dalam swamedikasi allopurinol.
English Abstract
Allopurinol 100 mg is ethical medicine which can be got by patients without doctor’s prescription that must be dispensed by Pharmacists. Because of Allopurinol should be continued indefinitely, the patients understanding and knowledge required in the use of allopurinol 100 mg. Age and knowledge can influence in behavior of rational self medication. The purpose of this study is to discover the correlation between age and knowledge of gout patients in allopurinol self medication at pharmacies In Malang City. Cross sectional method was used in this study. The pharmacies sample collection in this study was done by using cluster random sampling technique and the patients by using purposive sampling according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study take time ftom November until the end of January 2017 with 100 respondents obtained from 18 pharmacies. Analzying method used in this study was somers’d correlation method. The result of this study shows that 27% have a good knowledge, 48% have a sufficient knowledge, 25% have deficient knowledge. The correlation between age and knowledge by somers’d shows the p value=0,000 (p<0.05) and coefficient correlation 0.565. Therefore it can be concluded that there is a weak but definite correlation between age and knowledge level of gout patients in allopurinol self-medication.
