Abstract
Pakan modifikasi AIN-93M adalah pakan untuk hewan coba yang dimodifikasi dari pakan standar AIN-93M, yaitu dengan mensubstitusikan casein dengan putih telur dan mengganti Solka-floc dengan agar-agar. Energi merupakan kebutuhan setiap makhluk hidup yang berupa kapasitas tubuh untuk bekerja yang diukur dengan satuan kalori. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah substitusi casein dengan putih telur pada pakan modifikasi AIN-93M memiliki kadar energi yang sama dengan pakan standar AIN-93M produksi Dyets Inc. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan 12 sampel yang menggunakan perbandingan casein dan putih telur sebesar 100%:0%; 50%:50%; 75%:25%; 25%:75%. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis kadar energi yaitu menggunakan alat Bomb Calorimeter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar energi P0, P1, P2 dan P3 secara berturut-turut adalah 3645,64 kkal/kg, 3516,64 kkal/kg, 3519,7 kkal/kg, dan 3554,24 kkal/kg. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menggunakan One Way ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kadar energi (p=0,109) pakan modifikasi AIN-93M dibandingkan dengan pakan standar AIN-93M_Dyets Inc. Kesimpulannya adalah kadar energi yang terkandung pada pakan modifikasi AIN-93M dengan substitusi casein dengan putih telur tidak memiliki hasil yang berbeda dengan pakan standar AIN-93M_Dyets Inc.
English Abstract
AIN-93M modification diet is a diet for animal experimental, that is modified from AIN-93M standard diet, by substituting casein with egg white and change Solka-floc with seaweed. Energy is the needs of all living creatures, as the capacity of body to work, that is measured with calorie unit. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the substitution of casein with egg white in modification diet AIN-93M have the same energy amount with standard diet AIN-93M_Dyets Inc. Design study is true experimental research with 12 samples which used the composition of casein and egg white ratio i.e.: 100%:0%; 50%:50%; 75%:25%; 25%:75%. The energy was analyzed using Bomb Calorimeter. The result showed that the amount of energy for P0, P1, P2, and P3 are 3645,64 kcal/kg, 3516,64 kcal/kg, 3519,7 kcal/kg, and 3554,24 kcal/kg. Data analyzed using One Way ANOVA showed that there was no significant differences between amount of energy in AIN-93M modification diet and AIN-93M_Dyets Inc standard diet (p value=0,109). The conclusion is the amount of energy in AIN-93M modification diet by substituting casein with egg white have no different result with AIN-93M_Dyets Inc standard diet.
