Abstract
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit dengan karakteristik hiperglikemik yang terjadi karena kelainan sekresi insulin dan kerja insulin. Kontrol glukosa darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus dapat dipengaruhi oleh jumlah konsumsi sayur dan buah. Kandungan serat di dalam sayur dan buah berperan penting memperlambat absorbsi glukosa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara jumlah konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan kendali glukosa darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Janti Kota Malang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 yang menjalani rawat jalan di Puskesmas Janti, pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara non-probability sampling sebanyak 32 responden. Pengambilan data menggunakan form SQ-FFQ dan estimated food record. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden yang mengjumlah konsumsi sayur dan buah tidak sesuai dengan anjuran sebanyak 90,6%. Berdasarkan uji statistik korelasi pearson diperoleh nilai p-value jumlah konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa dan HBA1C dengan berturut-turut p=0,019 dan p=0,001 dengan tingkat signifikansi α<0,05. Sedangkan nilai p-value jumlah konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan kadar glukosa darah 2 jam PP p=0,261. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan bermakna antara jumlah konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa dan HBA1C pasien DM tipe 2 dengan kekuatan sedang, tetapi tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara jumlah konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan kadar glukosa darah jam PP pasien DM tipe 2.
English Abstract
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a diseases characterized by hyperglycemic disorder that occurs due to insulin secretion. Control of blood glucose can be influenced by the consumption of vegetables and fruits. Fruits and vegetables fibre has a crucial role slows the absorption of glucose. This study aims to identify the correlation between number of fruit and vegetables consumption to control blood glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Puskesmas Janti Malang. This is a descriptive analytic research using cross sectional approach. Subjects is patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Non probability sampling has been conducted on 32 respondent who visited the Puskesmas Janti. Collecting data using the form SQ-FFQ and form estimated food record. The results showed 90,6% subject did not fullfil number of fruit and vegetables consumption. Based on statistical test Pearson correlation was obtained p-value fruit and vegetable consumption with fasting blood glucose levels and HbA1c with successive p = 0.019 and p = 0.001 with a significance level α <0.05. While the p-value fruit and vegetable consumption with blood glucose 2 hours PP p = 0.261. It can be concluded there is a significant association between fruit and vegetable consumption with fasting blood glucose levels and HbA1c levels of patients with type 2 diabetes with the power of being moderate, but there was no significant association between fruit and vegetable consumption with blood glucose hours PP patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
