Abstract

Diet terstandar bagi hewan coba berfungsi untuk mengurangi variasi selama penelitian yang diakibatkan oleh diet. Saat ini ada beberapa macam pakan normal terstandar yang memiliki komposisi yang berbeda salah satunya yaitu AIN - 93 M dan PARS. BAT merupakan jaringan lemak coklat yang khas, berfungsi sebagai regulasi suhu tubuh dan marker untuk mengetahui kondisi obesitas pada hewan coba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah BAT (Brown Adipose Tissue) pada tikus Rattus norvegicus galur Wistar yang diberi diet normal standar PAR-S dan diet normal standar AIN-93M. Penelitian True Experimental Laboratoric dengan metode Control Group Post Test Design menggunakan jumlah sampel tikus putih sebanyak 36 ekor yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Menggunakan uji statistik Independent t-Test. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan asupan rata-rata diet normal standar PAR-S dan diet normal standar AIN-93M sebesar 96,5 ± 12,89 Kkal dan 38 ± 5,27 Kkal. Selama 12 minggu diet normal standar PAR-S dan diet normal standar AIN-93M diperoleh hasil jumlah BAT sebesar 195,6±73,34 gr dan 128,1±35,10 gr (p = 0,003). Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada jumlah BAT pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus galur Wistar) yang diberi diet normal standar PAR-S dan diet normal standar AIN- 93M.

English Abstract

Standard diet for animals try serves to decrease variation during the survey caused by diet. At this time there are two animal feed that has been frequently used in research that PARS and the AIN - 93 M. BAT is a distinctive brown fat, serves as body thermoregulation and marker to know the state try obesity in animals. This research aims to know the number of BAT (Brown Adipose Tissue) on Rattus norvegicus galur Wistar mouse who were given standard normal diet PAR-S and standard normal diet AIN-93M. This True Experimental Laboratoric with Control Group Post Test Design method uses 36 white mouse divided in 2 groups. Use statistical test Independent t – test. The samples were chosen by using RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) method. Statistical testing obtained the average intake of the standard normal diet PAR-S and standard normal diet AIN-93M is 96,5 ± 12,89 Kkal and 38 ± 5,27 Kkal. During 12 weeks of the standard normal diet PAR-S and standard normal diet AIN-93M obtained the results of the number of BAT is 195,6 ± 73,34 gr and 128,1 ± 35,10 gr (p = 0,003). Based on this research can be concluded that there are significant differences in the number of BAT on Rattus norvegicus galur Wistar mouse whe were given standard normal diet PAR-S and standard normal diet AIN-93M.
