Abstract
Latar Belakang: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan kelompok gangguan metabolik yang dikarakteristikkan dengan kondisi hiperglikemi kronis akibat gangguan pada sekresi insulin, kinerja insulin pada reseptor sel atau kombinasi keduanya. Tidak sedikit penderita DM yang terdiagnosa dengan perlemakan hati. Susu sapi bubuk mengandung vitamin D dan kalsium yang diduga dapat menurunkan jumlah perlemakan hati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh susu sapi bubuk terhadap perlemakan hati pada tikus wistar model diabetes mellitus tipe II. Metode: Penelitian eksperimental menggunakan Post Test Only Control Group Design. Sejumlah 30 tikus wistar dibagi secara acak menjadi 5 kelompok. Kelompok K (-) adalah kelompok dengan perlakuan diet normal tanpa induksi streptozotocin (STZ). Kelompok K (+) adalah kelompok dengan perlakuan diet tinggi lemak dan induksi STZ. Sedangkan kelompok P1, P2, dan P3 diberikan diet tinggi lemak dan induksi STZ serta susu sapi bubuk 0,9; 1,8; dan 2,7 g. Pada akhir penelitian dihitung perlemakan hatinya dengan Olyvia. Data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 16. Hasil: Hasil uji ANOVA dan Post Hoc Tuckey menunjukkan adanya perbedaan jumlah perlemakan hati antara kelompok kontrol positif terhadap kelompok yang diberi susu sapi bubuk P1 (0,9 g), P2 (1,8 g) dan P3 (2,7 g) (p=0,00; p<0,05). Hasil uji Spearman menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan susu sapi bubuk dengan penurunan jumlah perlemakan hati (p=0,00; p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Pemberian susu sapi bubuk berpengaruh terhadap penurunan perlemakan hati pada tikus putih dengan diabetes. Dosis yang paling signifikan terhadap perlemakan hati adalah 2,7 g susu sapi bubuk.
English Abstract
Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic disease characterized by chronic hyperglycemia, the action of insulin on cell receptor or combination of them. There are many patients diagnosed with fatty liver in DM. Dairy milk products contains vitamin D and calcium, those components have potential effects in reducing fatty liver. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of powdered milk in fatty liver on Wistar rats model of diabetes mellitus type II. Methods: This is an experimental study using Post Test Only Control Group Design. Thirty Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups. Group K (-) is the negative control group with normal diet without induction of streptozotocin (STZ). Group K (+) treated with high fat diet (HFD) and STZ induction. While the groups P1 , P2 , and P3 are given with HFD, STZ induction and milk powder 0.9, 1.8, and 2.7 grams. In the end of this study, fatty liver was analyzed with Olyvia. All data were analyzed with SPSS 16. Results: ANOVA and Post Hoc Tuckey test showed a difference amount of fatty liver between positive control group and dairy milk powder group P1 (0,9 g), P2 (1,8 g) and P3 (2,7 g) (p=0,00; p<0,05). Spearman test showed a correlations between dairy milk intake and fatty liver (p=0,00; p<0,05). Conclusion: Dairy milk powder have significant effect in reducing fatty liver in diabetes white male rats. Significant dose on fatty liver is 2,7 g dairy milk powder a day.
