Abstract
Diet yang diberikan pada hewan coba pada dasarnya ada dua macam yaitu diet normal dan diet untuk perlakuan. Salah satu diet standar internasional adalah diet AIN-93. Dalam penelitian aterosklerosis, untuk menginduksi aterosklerosis pada hewan coba dengan cara pemberian diet aterogenik. Salah satu parameter yang dapat menilai keefektifan diet aterogenik adalah pengukuran antropometri (panjang badan, berat badan, lingkar toraks dan lingkar perut). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan antropometri pada tikus yang diberi “diet aterogenik modifikasi standar AIN-93M dan diet normal standar AIN-93M. Studi eksperimental dengan menggunakan randomized control group postest design terhadap hewan coba tikus (Rattus novergicus strain wistar) Jantan. Sample dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok “diet aterogenik modifikasi AIN-93M” (P1; n=18; 4,18 kkal/gr) dan kelompok “diet normal AIN-93M” (P2; n=18; 3,2 kkal/gr) dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa rata-rata intake energi pada kelompok P1 adalah 37,1 ± 9,2 kkal/hari dan 33,4 ± 4,1 kkal/hari pada kelompok P2 dan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil pengukuran panjang badan, berat badan, lingkar toraks dan lingkar perut antara kelompok P1 dan P2 dengan nilai p= 0,68, p= 0,29, p= 0,804 dan p= 0,737 (T test, p>0,005).
English Abstract
There are two kinds of diet who given to animal model, normal diet and treatment’s diet. One of the standard diet used internationally are AIN-93 diet. In atherosclerosis’s study, to induce atherosclerosis in animal by providing atherogenic diet. Anthropometric measurements (body lenght, body weight, torax circumference and abdominal circumference) can be used to assess the atherogenic diet effectiveness. The purpose of this study to determine differences of anthropometric measurements in rat males are given atherogenic diet modification of standard AIN-93M and normal diet standard AIN-93M. Experimental study using randomized control group posttest design to rats (Rattus novergicus Wistar strain) Males.The samples were divided into 2 groups: group "atherogenic diet modification of standard AIN-93M " (P1; n = 18; 4,18kkal/ g) and group "normal diet standard AIN-93M" (P2; n = 18; 3.2 kcal/ g ) with a simple random sampling technique. Result of this study showed that energy intake of P1 is 37,1 ± 9,2 kcal/day and 33,4 ± 4,1 kcal/day P2 and there are no significant differences of body lenght, body weight, torax circumference and abdominal circumference in both of groubs with the p value are p= 0,68, p= 0,29, p= 0,804 dan p= 0,737 (T test, p>0,005).
