Abstract
Prevalensi anemia pada wanita usia subur di Indonesia sebesar 26,9%. Zat besi merupakan salah satu mineral mikroelemen yang esensial bagi tubuh, zat ini terutama diperlukan dalam proses hematopoiesis (pembentukan darah) yaitu dalam sintesa hemoglobin. Menurut Angka Kecukupan Gizi (AKG) 2013 kebutuhan asupan zat besi untuk wanita usia subur (WUS) berumur 18-49 tahun adalah 26 mg/hari. Wanita usia subur merupakan kelompok usia rentan terhadap anemia gizi besi (Fe) karena beberapa permasalahan yang dialami wanita usia subur seperti mengalami menstruasi setiap bulan, mengalami kehamilan dan kurang asupan zat besi makanan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran umum asupan zat besi pada WUS di Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan study observasional deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah WUS suku Madura di wilayah Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang dengan sampel sebanyak 40 responden. Data asupan zat besi didapatkan dengan metode penimbangan makanan (Weight Food Record/ WFR), kemudia data diolah menggunakan analisis nutrisurvey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata asupan zat besi pada WUS hanya 6,19mg/hari termasuk kategori rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah asupan zat besi pada seluruh responden kurang dari AKG yaitu <26 mg/hari, dengan data asupan zat besi tidak terdistribusi normal dan median intake (nilai minimum-maksimum) sebesar 5,76 mg/hari (2,48-14,87). Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan uji biokimia untuk mendukung variabel penelitian.
English Abstract
The prevalence of anemia in women of childbearing age in Indonesia is 26.9%. Iron is one of the essential microelements mineral for the body, this substance is especially necessary in the process of hematopoiesis (blood forming) is in the synthesis of hemoglobin. According to the Nutrition Adequacy Score (AKG) 2013 needs Fe intake for women of childbearing age (WUS) aged 18-49 years is 26 mg/day. Women of childbearing age is the vulnerable age group to nutritional anemia iron (Fe) because some of the problems experienced by women of childbearing age as menstruate every month, pregnancy and less food intake of iron. The purpose of this study to determine the general picture iron intake in Madurese women childbearing age in District Kedungkandang Malang. This study is a descriptive observational study with quantitative approach using cross-sectional study design. Subjects were Madurese women of childbearing age in the District Kedungkandang Malang with a sample of 40 respondents. Intake of Fe data obtained by the method of weighing food (Weight Food Record/WFR) the data were then processed using nutrisurvey analysis. The results of this study showed that the average intake of Fe on women of childbearing age only 6,19 mg/day is low. The conclusion of this study is the Fe intake on all respondents is less than the RDA is <26 mg /day, which Fe intake data were not normally distributed and the median intake (minimum-maximum value) of 5.76 mg/day (2.48 to 14.87). Further research needs to be done with biochemical tests to support the research variables.
