Abstract
Tumor pada regio kepala merupakan tumor yang cukup sering terjadi di Indonesia. Insiden tumor kepala berkisar antara 5% sampai 8% bergantung pada populasi tertentu dan umumnya terjadi pada pria usia pertengahan yang mempunyai riwayat kronik tembakau dan alkohol. FNAB merupakan salah satu metode pemeriksaan preoperatif non invasif untuk mendiagnosis tumor kepala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil penderita dan uji diagnostik pemeriksaan FNAB (Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy) tumor kepala di Instalasi Patologi Anatomi RSSA Malang Periode 2011-2012. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dan uji diagnostik dengan mengambil data sekunder dari rekam medis penderita tumor kepala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 59 kasus pasien tumor kepala yang dilakukan pemeriksaan FNAB serta pemeriksaan histopatologi pada tumor kepala. Karakteristik tumor kepala terbanyak pada jenis kelamin perempuan 56,89% dan kelompok usia 51-60 tahun 18,58%. Lokasi tumor kepala terbanyak adalah pada regio auricula 9,98%.. Berdasarkan 59 kasus tersebut diperoleh akurasi pemeriksaan FNAB adalah sebesar 98,3%, dengan sensitifitas 95,65%, spesifisitas 100%, nilai prediksi positif 100%, dan nilai prediksi negatif 97,29%%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah FNAB merupakan pemeriksaan preoperatif non invasif yang bisa digunakan untuk diagnosis tumor pada regio kepala.
English Abstract
Head tumors are a commonly occured tumor in Indonesia. The incidence rate is about 5% to 8% depends on the population and usually occurs in middle-aged men who have a history of chronic tobacco and alcohol. FNAB is one of the non invasive preoperative examination methods used to evaluate head tumors. This research’s purpose is to find out the head tumors patient’s profiles and FNAB diagnostic test for head tumors in Pathology Anatomy Unit Saiful Anwar Hospital, Malang from 2011-2012 period. This research is analytic observational research and diagnostic test with secondary data taken from head tumors patient’s medical records. Head tumors characteristic mostly found in female with 56,89% and age 51-60 years old group with 18,58%. Head tumors mostly occured at the auricula regio with 9,98%. The results shown that there are 59 head tumor cases which is tested with histopathology biopsy and FNAB. From the cases, it can be concluded that FNAB’s accuracy number is 97,3% with sensitivity of 95,65%, specifity number of 100%, positive prediction number of 100%, and negative prediction number of 97,29%. From the research it can be concluded that FNAB is a non invasive preoperative examination methods that can be used to evaluate head tumors
