Hubungan Tingkat Harga Diri Dengan Tingkat Stres Akademik Pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Keperawatan Fkub

Abstract

Stres Akademik Merupakan Masalah Yang Banyak Dihadapi Mahasiswa Keperawatan. Adaptasi Terhadap Stres Akademik Dapat Dipengaruhi Oleh Harga Diri. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Mengukur Tingkat Harga Diri, Mengukur Tingkat Stres Akademik Dan Menganalisa Hubungan Tingkat Harga Diri Dengan Tingkat Stres Akademik Pada Mahasiswa Ilmu Keperawatan Fkub. Penelitian Deskriptif Korelasional Ini Menggunakan Desain Cross Sectional. Sampel Penelitian Ini Adalah Mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Keperawatan Fkub Angkatan 2013 (N=97) Dengan Menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling. Hasil Penelitian Tingkat Harga Diri Menunjukkan Bahwa Tidak Ada Mahasiswa Yang Memiliki Tingkat Harga Diri Rendah (0%), 72 (74%) Memiliki Tingkat Harga Diri Sedang Dan 25 (26%) Memiliki Tingkat Harga Diri Tinggi. Hasil Pengukuran Tingkat Stres Akademik Menunjukkan Sebanyak 49 (51%) Memiliki Tingkat Stres Akademik Rendah, 45 (46%) Memiliki Tingkat Stres Akademik Sedang Dan 3 (3%) Memiliki Tingkat Stres Akademik Tinggi. Hasil Uji Korelasi Spearman Pada Ci 95% (A=0,05) Menghasilkan P Value 0,013 (P<0,05) Sehingga H0 Ditolak Dan Dapat Disimpulkan Bahwa Terdapat Hubungan Yang Signifikan. Kekuatan Korelasi (R) Lemah Dengan Nilai Sebesar 0,250. Arah Korelasi Negatif (-) Menunjukkan Bahwa Semakin Tinggi Tingkat Harga Diri Mahasiswa Maka Semakin Rendah Tingkat Stres Akademik Mahasiswa. Berdasarkan Hasil Penelitian Disarankan Kepada Institusi Pendidikan Untuk Membuat Program Yang Dapat Meningkatkan Tingkat Harga Diri Mahasiswa.

English Abstract

Academic Stress Is One Of Many Problems Which Nursing Students Had. Academic Stress Adaptation Can Be Affected By Self Esteem. This Study Aimed To Measure The Level Of Self-Esteem, To Measure The Level Of Academic Stress And To Analyze The Correlation Of Self-Esteem Levels With Academic Stress Levels In Nursing Students Of Fmub. This Descriptive Correlational Study Used Cross-Sectional Design. The Samples Were Nursing Students Of Fmub Year Of 2013 By Using Simple Random Sampling Technique. The Results Of Students’ Self-Esteem Level Showed That There Were No Students Who Had Low Level Of Self Esteem (0%), 72 (74%) Had A Moderate Level Of Self-Esteem And 25 (26%) Had A High Level Of Self-Esteem. The Measurement Of Students Academic Stress Level Showed That 49 Students (51%) Had Lower Levels Of Academic Stress, 45 Students (46%) Had A Moderate Level Of Academic Stress And 3 Students (3%) Had A High Level Of Academic Stress. The Result Of Spearman Correlation Test At A 95% Ci (A = 0.05) Produced A P-Value Of 0.013 (P <0.05) So That H0 Was Rejected And It Can Be Concluded That There Was A Significant Relationship. The Strength Of Correlation (R) Was Weak With A Value Of 0.250. Direction Of The Correlation Was Negative (-) Indicated That The Higher Level Of Students’ Self-Esteem, The Lower Level Of Students Academic Stress. Based On The Results This Study Suggested To The Education Institution To Make Programs That Can Improve The Level Of Students’ Self Esteem.
