Abstract
Latar Belakang : Seledri (Apium Graveolans) Yang Memiliki Kandungan Flavonoid Yaitu Apigenin Yang Memiliki Aktivitas Antioksidan. Dilaporkan Kandungan Flavonoid Tersebut Memiliki Kemampuan Sebagai Antiulcer Dengan Cara Melakukan Proteksi Pada Mukosa Lambung. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Etanol Seledri Terhadap Pencegahan Ulkus Lambung Melalui Penurunan Indeks Ulkus. Metode : Penelitian Ini Adalah Penelitian Eksperimental Dengan Rancangan Post Test Only Control Group Design. Sampel Terdiri Dari 30 Ekor Tikus Putih Jantan Yang Dibagilalu Dibagi Rata Menjadi 5 Kelompok, Yaitu Kelompok Kontrol Negatif (Kn) Dan Positif (Kp) Dan 3 Kelompok Perlakuan. Kelompok Kn Diberi Pakan Standar, Kelompok Kp Diinduksi Indometachin. Ketiga Kelompok Perlakuan Diberikan Tindakan Preventif Ekstrak Etanol Seledri Dengan Dosis Masing-Masing 200, 300, Dan 400 Mg/Kgbb Selama 5 Hari, Lalu Diinduksi Indometachin. Seluruh Data Didapatkan Dari Penghitungan Rumus Indeks Ulkus Dan Diolah Dengan Aplikasi Spss 20 For Windows. Hasil : Berdasarkan Hasil Uji Analisa One Way Anova Didapatkan Hasil Hitung P-Value (0,000) < Α (0,005), Yang Memiliki Arti Bahwa Pemberian Ekstrak Etanol Seledri Pada Ketiga Kelompok Perlakuan Memberikan Pengaruh Yang Signifikan Terhadap Penurunan Indeks Ulkus. Berdasarkan Post Hoc Test Dengan Menggunakan Uji Tukey Hsd Dapat Disimpulkan Bahwa Kelompok Kontrol Negatif Memiliki Perbedaan Yang Signifikan Dengan Semua Kelompok. Pada Kelompok Perlakuan 1, 2, Dan 3 Tidak Terdapat Perbedaan Yang Signifikan Pada Hasil Indeks Ulkus. Kesimpulan : Terdapat Pengaruh Dari Pemberian Ekstrak Etanol Daun Seledri Terhadap Penurunan Indeks Ulkus. Saran : Diperlukan Dosis Yang Lebih Tinggi Dan Bervariasi Untuk Penelitian Selanjutnya Yang Bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Keefektifan Ekstrak Etanol Daun Seledri Dalam Pencegahan Ulkus Lambung Melalui Penurunan Indeks Ulkus.
English Abstract
Background: Celery (Apium Graveolens) Which Contains Flavonoids That Is Apigenin Which Have Antioxidant Activity. Reported To Have A High Content Of Flavonoids As Antiulcer By Way Of Protection Of The Gastric Mucosa. This Study Aimed To Determine The Effect Of Ethanol Extract Of Celery For The Prevention Of Gastric Ulcers Through A Reduction In Ulcer Index. Methods: This Study Is An Experimental Study With The Method Post Test Only Control Group Design. The Sample Consisted Of 30 Male Rats Were Divided Equally Into 5 Groups: Negative Control Group (Kn) And Positive (Kp) And The 3 Treatment Groups. Kn Group Fed A Standard, Kp Group Induced Indometachin. All Three Treatment Groups Were Given Preventive Action Of Ethanol Extract Of Celery With Each Dose Are 200, 300, And 400 Mg/Kgbw For 5 Days, Then Induced Indometachin. All Data Obtained From The Calculation Of The Ulcer Index Formula And Processed With Spss 20 For Windows. Results: Based On The Test Results Of One Way Anova Analysis Showed Calculate The P-Value (0.000) <Α (0.005), Which Means That The Ethanol Extract Of Celery In The Three Treatment Groups Had A Significant Influence In Decreasing Ulcer Index. Based On The Post Hoc Test Using The Tukey Hsd Test Can Be Concluded That The Negative Control Group Had Significant Difference In All Groups. In The Treatment Group 1, 2, And 3 There Are No Significant Differences In The Results Of The Ulcer Index. Conclusion: There Is The Effect Of The Ethanol Extract Of Celery To The Reduction Of Ulcer Index. Advice : Required A Higher And Varies Dose For Further Research That Aims To Determine The Effectiveness Of The Ethanol Extract Of Celery In The Prevention Of Gastric Ulcer Through The Reduction Of Ulcer Index.
