Fatmawati, Nunik (2015) Hubungan Tingkat Beban Kerja Perawat Dengan Komunikasi Terapeutik Perawat Kepada Pasien Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rst Dr. Soepraoen Malang. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

Beban Kerja Adalah Seluruh Kegiatan Atau Aktivitas Yang Dilakukan Oleh Perawat Selama Bertugas Di Suatu Unit Pelayanan Keperawatan. Beban Kerja Perawat Yang Tidak Sesuai Dengan Jumlah Perawat Yang Tersedia Akan Berdampak Buruk Dalam Pelayanan Yang Diberikan Kepada Pasien. Beban Kerja Yang Tinggi Akan Mengakibatkan Komunikasi Yang Buruk Antara Perawat Dengan Pasien. Tujuan Dari Penelitian Ini Untuk Menganalisa Hubungan Tingkat Beban Kerja Perawat Dengan Komunikasi Terapeutik Perawat Kepada Pasien. Penelitian Ini Merupakan Analisis Korelasi Dengan Pendekatan Cross Sectional. Jumlah Sampel Dalam Penelitian Sebanyak 35 Perawat Dari 3 Ruangan Rawat Inap Dengan Teknik Purposive Sampling. Data Beban Kerja Dan Komunikasi Terapeutik Diperoleh Melalui Kuesioner, Yang Sebelumnya Sudah Dilakukan Uji Validitas. Uji Statistik Yang Digunakan Uji Spearman Untuk Mengetahui Hubungan Tingkat Beban Kerja Dengan Komunikasi Terapeutik. Sebagian Besar Perawat Memiliki Beban Kerja Sedang (60,3%) Dan Sebagian Besar Perawat Telah Menerapkan Komunikasi Terapeutik Yang Baik (71,4%). Hasil Uji Spearman Menunjukkan Terdapat Hubungan Yang Cukup Kuat Antara Tingkat Beban Kerja Perawat Dengan Komunikasi Terapeutik Perawat Kepada Pasien (P=0,001). Kesimpulan Dari Penelitian Ini Adalah Tingkat Beban Kerja Perawat Berhubungan Dengan Komunikasi Terapeutik Perawat Kepada Pasien Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rst Dr. Soepraoen Malang. Berdasarkan Hasil Penelitian Ini, Disarankan Agar Pihak Manajemen Rumah Sakit Tetap Memantau Dan Mengevaluasi Tingkat Beban Kerja Perawat Agar Kualitas Komunikasi Dan Pelayanannya Dapat Ditingkatkan.

English Abstract

Workload Is The Whole Activities Undertaken By Nurses During Stint In A Nursing Care Unit. The Workload Of Nurses Which Is Inexpedient To The Number Of The Available Nurses Will Adversely Affect The Services Given To The Patient. High Workload Charged To Nurses Will Result In Poor Communication Between Nurses And Patients. The Objective Of This Study Was To Analyze The Relationship Between Nurse Workload And Nurse Therapeutic Communication With The Patient. This Research Applied A Correlation Analytical Study With Cross-Sectional Approach. The Sample Number Of This Study Was 35 Nurses Who Were Obtained From Three Inpatient Units By Using Purposive Sampling Technique. The Data Of Workload And Therapeutic Communication Were Obtained Through Questionnaire, Which The Validity Had Been Examined. The Statistical Test Was Used Spearman Test To Identify The Correlation Between The Level Of Workload And The Therapeutic Communication. Most Of The Nurses Had A Moderate Workload (60.3%) And Most Of Them Had Performed A Good Therapeutic Communication (71.4%). The Spearman Test Result Indicated There Was A Fairly Strong Correlation Between The Level Of Workload Of Nurses And Their Therapeutic Communication To Patients (P=0.001). The Conclusion Of This Study Was The Level Of Workload And The Therapeutic Communication Nurses Performed To Patients In The Inpatient Unit Of Dr. Soepraoen Military Hospital Malang Were Correlated. Based On This Result, It Is Suggested That The Hospital Management Should Continue To Monitor And Evaluate The Level Of Workload Of Nurses So That The Quality Of Communication And Services Can Be Improved.
