Abstract
Tumor rongga mulut merupakan suatu masalah yang serius di berbagai negara. Seiring dengan perkembangan Ilmu Patologi Anatomi dalam bidang sitopatologi, maka dikembangkanlah diagnosa FNAB (Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy), dimana metode pemeriksaan tersebut dapat dipergunakan sebagai sarana diagnosa preoperatif untuk tumorrongga mulut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilaiakurasidari diagnosa FNAB pada penderita tumor rongga mulutdi Instalasi Patologi Anatomi RSU Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang periode Tahun 2011 – 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Instalasi Patologi Anatomi Rumah Sakit Dr.Saiful Anwar Malang periode Januari 2011 – Desember 2013 didapatkan 35 kasus pasien tumor rongga mulut yang dilakukan pemeriksaan dengan FNABdilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan histopatologi hasil open biopsyatau operasi. Berdasarkan 35 kasus tersebut diperoleh akurasi pemeriksaan FNAB adalah sebesar 97,14%, dengan sensitifitas 100%, spesifisitas 96,42%, prediksi positif 87,5%, prediksi negatif 100%.
English Abstract
Oral Cavity tumors is serious problem in many country. Along with the advance of Anatomy Pathology, especially in cytopathology field, the diagnosis of FNAB (Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy) is being developed and such the inspection method can be used as a means of serves as preoperative diagnosis for the oral cavity tumors. The study has a purpose to measure the accuracy of FNAB diagnosis of patients with oral cavity tumors in Anatomy Pathology Installation, RSU dr. Saiful Anwar, Malang for a period of 2011 - 2013. The findings show that in Anatomy Pathology Installation, Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital in Malang from period of January 2011 - December 2013,obtained 35 cases of patients with oral cavity tumors that were treated with FNAB examination and followed up with the histopathotology examination for open biopsy result or operation. Based on the 35 cases, the obtained accuracy of FNAB examination was as follows: 97,14% for accuracy, 100% for sensitivity, 96,42% for specificity, 87,5% for positive prediction, and 100% for negative prediction.
