Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat higiene perorangan dan pengetahuan siswa dengan kejadian kecacingan pada siswa sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Sukun, Kota Malang. Penelitian deskriptif analitik ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Juli hingga November 2014 dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 100 responden yang telah dihitung sebelumnya dengan menggunakan metode proporsional systematic random sampling. Data yang digunakan merupakan hasil dari pemeriksaan feses dengan metode Kato Thick Smear, wawancara, dan observasi menggunakan kuisioner. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji chi-square sebagai analisis bivariat dan uji logistic regression sebagai analisis multivariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 25% dari 100 siswa terinfeksi kecacingan. Cacing yang terbanyak ditemukan adalah Ascaris lumbricoides. Hasil uji chi-square dari masing-masing komponen higiene perorangan dan pengetahuan siswa didapatkan p value > 0,05. Hal ini berarti tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara higiene perorangan dan pengetahuan siswa dengan kejadian kecacingan pada siswa sekolah dasar
English Abstract
This research is carried out in order to determine the relation between the level of personal hygiene and student’s knowledge on worm infestation occurring to the state elementary school students in Sukun, Malang. This descriptive analytic research was started in July 2014 and ended in November 2014 with using a cross sectional design. The samples were 100 respondents which had been counted before using proporsional systematic random sampling method. The applied data are the outcomes of stool examinations, interviews, and questionnaire observation. In this research chi-square test was used as bivariat analysis, and logistic regression test as multivariat analysis. The results which could be concluded from this research are 25% of 100 students were positive infected worm infestation. The most common type of worm is Ascaris lumbricoides. Chi-square test of each components personal hygiene and student’s knowledge obtained p value > 0.05. This means that there is no meaningful connection between the level of personal hygiene and student’s knowledge on worm infestation occurring to the state elementary school students..
